The hotel

For great value, family-friendly accommodation within a stones throw of Walt Disney World, look no further than the recently remodelled Wyndham Orlando Celebration Area – showing that you don’t necessarily need to book an on-site hotel to be in the heart of the action. The hotel includes a complimentary shuttle service to Walt Disney World (the short trip that it is!) as well as Universtal Studios and even the Lake Buena Vista outlets when you want a break from the thrills and spills. Start your day with the fabulous waffles that are on offer at the H Street Grille buffet breakfast, grab a Starbucks from the lobby, and you’ll be all set for wherever you’re heading. There’s no need to leave if you don’t want to though, chill by the pool or let the little ones roam in the indoor play area – you’ll find it hard to tear them away! If it’s the older ones that are looking for some action, book a session at the Topgolf swing suites, you don’t need to be a golf fan to enjoy yourself here, there’s no experience required!

Hotel was nice. It's nice that the event including was attending was in the same building so I never had to leave. Was also nice to get a discount on the room rates by booking from the event website. I will likely be returning again next year. Chaos Cup Blood Bowl Toyrney is always a great time.

Staff very helpful and friendly. I was tired on arrival and allowed an early check in. The building was very clean, with staff mopping and cleaning around food areas and muddy footprints ASAP. The building does look old and tired, carpets worn. Lobby chairs comfy, food decent and well priced. Bed was extremely comfortable, with plenty of… Read more

Website said indoor playground for kids and arcade. There was nothing on website stating it was closed down, when we got there is when we were notified. That was the main reason for staying there, otherwise we would have stayed where we always do. Breakfast you paid for, for exactly what you get for free at all other hotels. Over 48.00 for 2 adults and 1 child. Cereal microwave eggs and microwave cheese omelets and toast. Go to IHOP. No microwave in room tho they state there is. Seriously not worth the money. We were passing through the area unexpectedly late on 11/09/24, and the front desk attendant was friendly, professional, and found us a room for the night. The property was clean and well maintained. We wish we could have stayed longer!!!!

THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR HAIZEL AND ANGIE BEHIND THE BAR. While the rest of the front desk staff requires additional training in customer service skills and operations of their own establishment in order to communicate accurate information in a respectful, helpful manner, Haizel and Angie went above and beyond to provide customer service that other staff members were incapable of. I cannot in good conscience give a 5 star review for this hotel without mentioning the many disappointments, but I want to make it clear that Haizel and Angie single-handedly made up for these failures with their kindness, communication skills, attentiveness, and joyful personalities. I will not stay at this hotel again, but I will 100% stay nearby so that I come drink at the bar with Haizel and Angie the next time I visit Orlando. I do not want the negative experiences I had to overshadow the incredibly work of these two ladies, but I will share one specific story to provide context. We arrived on Friday and planned to visit the Disney Parks on Saturday. I called the front desk on Friday night from the phone in my room and was eventually hung up on because the phone in my room was not functioning. This was not a big issue; I called back from my cell phone. I called to reserve the shuttle to the Disney Parks the following morning. The front desk person informed me that I could not reserve the night before and it must be the same day; however, this was not the only piece of misinformation I was told. They also stated that I could request the shuttle for any time of day and described, in detail, the destinations in order of arrival. The next morning, I went to the front desk early to reserve my shuttle and was informed that I was required to book the shuttle the previous day. I was also corrected, in a disrespectful, accusatory way, that the shuttle does not cater to guests, but rather, runs one time to the parks in the morning and I had missed the time. The front desk staff was unapologetic and not understanding whatsoever that their staff member was the reason for my misunderstanding. I was offered no solution, accommodation, or even a sincere apology. Regardless of the incompetencies in hospitality exhibited by the front desk, Haizel and Angie earned this hotel 5 stars. I hope you think twice about staying here, but also consider stopping by the bar for great conversation, sports games, delicious food, competitive prices, and excellent customer service. Read less
