Very nice hotel and close to many things. Customer service from Efrain, Zachary and Fan at the hotel was amazing. As was the service from Marys at the Bistro. I've been to a lot of places and I have to say the customer service from Efrain at the front desk was among the best I've ever experienced. He's a true asset to the team!

Great hotel, Conor Philip made our day by listening to our concerns and changed our room to a closer one by the elevator. And solved all our problems, the room is very big, comfy and clean. The location is great very near by universal, all the outlets and shops. Great restaurant too are very near by

Dated bathrooms, zero storage or counter space and shower heads need to be replaced or cleaned. Door to room doesn’t close unless you slam it, and air conditioning is hit or miss. It’s too cold at 70, but humid and warm at 71. Sofa bed is not meant for sleeping, had to buy an air mattress from Walmart and have delivered. Spend just a bit more and go next door to Springhill. The breakfast at courtyard is $15.99 and is the exact same as the free one next door. Pool needs more loungers. Staff was friendly, shuttle to parks was nice. Food hall at the Fairfield was terrible, so go to restaurants adjacent to village. Read less

Awful check-in experience. We arrived early and the front desk told us our room could be ready around 1pm and they would call us, which was fair, no complaints here. Awful check-in experience. We arrived early and the front desk told us our room could be ready around 1pm and they would call us, which was fair, no complaints here. We went to the nearby outlet (10 minute walk, worth visiting if you're in the area), and since we never got a call, decided to walk around until the standard check-in time at 4pm. When we got back at 4pm, we were told again that our room wasn't ready, and that they'd tell us as soon as it is, again. We decided to just wait in the lobby, assuming that since it's standard check-in time, our room should be ready really soon, right? Answer is no. We sat for more than an hour, watching as other guests managed to check-in and go about their days, while we adjusted our dinner plans. At around 5:15pm, we went to the front desk, who apologized because he had forgotten to check the status of our room. Doesn't make a difference though, because our room STILL wasn't ready. We continued to wait while they reached out to housekeeping to inquire about the status of our room. By the time we finally got to our room, it was around 6pm. I've stayed at loads of hotels around the world, especially Marriott hotels ever since becoming a Marriott Gold member. Most times even if they couldn't let me check-in early (which I understand is not a guarantee and I'm always grateful when they do), my room would still be ready by the time of standard check-in, whether it's 3pm or 4pm depending on the hotel. This is the first time where I have to wait for 2 hours after the expected check-in time for my room to be ready, and I have a feeling it would've been longer if we hadn't been persistent and stayed in the lobby right in front of the front desk. I might've felt better if they offered some sort of compensation, but nope, nothing, just our bad luck. To be clear here, I don't really blame the guy at the front desk, he was the only employee there and had been swamped since we arrived. What I don't understand is why on such a busy Sunday in the summer, the hotel would only staff one person at the front desk. We saw a couple housekeeping staff still cleaning rooms as we were walking to ours, so clearly they're doing their best too with the amount of work they have. From what we observed during our four night stay, it just seems like the hotel is understaffed for such a busy time of year. Apart from that, the hotel itself is nice. We really liked the pools and lounging around it just reminds you of the reason for coming here. Its close proximity to Disney Springs and Vineland Outlets (under $10 Uber) was also perfect for people who want to just relax and shop around when they're not going to Disney/Universal. They've got shuttles to both and of course, the Disney Parks, but the times are very limited and it's just easier to Uber/Lyft. Read less
