We stayed at the Sheraton for 11 night in October. We picked the Sheraton for its location as our main purpose was to visit Disney. Overall it was a great place although absolutely huge! It cannot be underestimated how big this place is! Generally well maintained, each area has a pool and restaurant nearby. We stayed in the Lakes area which was lovely and quiet. Two pools were nearby, a quiet pool and a more lively one which suited my kids. The apartment is huge and we throughly enjoyed having so much space. We generally ate breakfast in the apartment and ate out the rest of the time. I did cook twice and had plenty of space and equipment to use. Note the Brits amongst you. There was no electric kettle so you had to boil a 'whistle kettle' each time you wanted hot water! No good for me who loves a cup of tea in the mornings. We ate at the pizza restaurant Azzura and was underwhelmed with the service (there was none!) but the pizza was nice. The grocery shop onsite is very expensive, like $7.50 for milk expensive! Having said that food in Orlando generally is expensive. We spent $200 in Publix and got very little for our money so bear that in mind. Pack lots of snacks to save money. We also visited the main activity centre (by the tennis courts) and my kids played tennis and we did some craft activities. The team are very nice. We also played Halloween glow mini golf which was fun. To get to and from the parks we ordered Lyfts which pick you up from your door so no need to go to main reception. Average price was $10-15 each way. This was better for us as $30 a day is the same cost to park your car at Disney without the hassle of driving. Waited no longer than 10mins each mornings, in fact sometimes we were running out the door as they were so quick! We booked through Virgin Holidays and would go back again if we had the chance. Kind of a one off trip for us though sadly. Disney was amazing and we loved it. Enjoy your stay and say hi to Mickey from me. Read less

Very nice resort. Only one complaint -- a bit of price gouging in the convenience store called Marketplace.

We spent two weeks at the Vistana and loved our stay. The first week was in a 2-bedroom sleeping 8 and the second week was in a 2-bedroom sleeping 6. Both rooms were outfitted well. I needed a tv guide and it was delivered to the room. The second room did not have a toaster, but if you need one I am confident they will send one for you. We… Read more

We made use of the facilities and played pickle ball and mini golf, went to the gym, used the hot tub and swam in the pool. The grounds are upkept beautifully, and there is a constant presence of groundsmen and cleaners. We liked going to the marketplace to get our Starbucks every evening and walking around the resort. We liked that the resort is near the parks and other attractions. The only things I can think of that would make this resort better would be to get smart TVs in the units and install a lazy river around the property. Read less

Beautiful place. I would definitely visit again. Lots of walking so definitely need a car to see the whole resort. Beautiful scenery. Water pressure sucks and nothing is included as far as food or drinks which was surprising that they call themselves all inclusive and the Star bucks on the property doesn’t have a full service menu mostly coffee but there is one right across the street. It’s very quiet especially at night and definitely relaxing. Everything you need is right around the corner including Disney which is like 2.0 miles away. They have some activities but at an extra cost. The drinks aren’t very strong for the price. The area around the resort is nice and safe. I would definitely recommend staying they have tons of large gas grills and a full kitchen so grocery shopping is a plus on the first day. Super clean resort as well. Read less

My family loves staying at this resort. The grounds are clean. The staff members are pleasant and very helpful. You have a number of different pools to choose when the kids want to go swimming. The resort is also conveniently located next to a few convenient stores just in case you need to get anything from the store.
