Love this resort! It never disappoints. Rooms are top notch, location is perfect and the food and drinks at the pool side lounger are perfect! This trip we stayed in a king room with sleeper sofa and it was perfect for three people. The lobby is always clean and staff are friendly.

However the rooms left a bit to be desired. They had everything we needed but they were a little bare and we had to walk outside to get to them. Which was fine, it was no problem. The walls were a little thin and I woke up to a crying kid next door every day. The lobby is on the 3rd floor so you go down to the 1st floor to go to the pool. The location is fantastic, literally across the street from Disney springs. I went back and forth multiple times throughout the day. The bus transportation to the parks every hour was so convenient so I didn’t have to rent a car. Worth the resort fee in my opinion! I’d stay here again despite the negatives and would 10/10 recommend to others. Read less

We are previous visitors to Disney and have chosen to stay in Disney hotels. We are a family who spends all day at the parks - and paying for Disney resorts seemed a bit of a waste of money. We still wanted to be on resort - so thought we would try this place. I will list the pros and cons. It is important to note this is not a Disney hotel - although it is on site. Pros Proximity to Disney Springs. This was probably the biggest plus for me. It was maybe a 3/4 minute walk to Disney Springs - and as such we used Springs more than we have on any other vacation. Good housekeeping. Came everyday - and also done a good a job. Rooms - maybe a little dated - but were clean and tidy. Free Transport to Disney Parks. (More about this on cons) Nice Pool area. Handy Joffrey's coffee shop - that opened at 6am that were handy for early park starts. Cons As I said this is not a Disney hotel - as such there is no Disney Magic. WIFI - unless you are in the main building the WIFI is non existent. You will need to have an international data plan if coming from abroad - because you need your phone to do anything Disney now. Transport. Why I have had it as a pro - it's also a con. If you are used to Disney transport this is not it. You have to pre book an exact time - and it's only every hour go and return times. As such budget for a few Ubers - or if starting later and say going to Hollywood Studios - go and have something to eat at Disney Springs and get a bus to say the Riveria and then then sky rail to Hollywood. We still used Disney transport a lot. Also worth noting in Magic Kingdom they don't have permission to drive up to the entrance like Disney Buses. You still need to get the monorail. The staff are nice - but they are not Disney cast members and don't have the knowledge. I asked one of them how to get to Blizzard beach - and he said the only way was taxi. That didn't sound right to me - so I goggled it and it turns out you there is a bus that goes from Animal Kingdom park. Being on site - staff should have this basic information. On the whole - I think this is a solid on site budget option. When you put it into perspective one night at The Riveria is the cost of four nights here. If you have been to Disney before and are confident with the process then I would book here - if however it is your first trip I would consider spending a little more and staying in a Disney Hotel. This is the best resort at Walt Disney Resort! We stay here all the time when we visits. Of course we are local but we love to stay here for our staycation! Best staff, clean rooms, best value, and the shortest walking distance to Disney Springs!

We have stayed here before and had a wonderful experience. This last weekend we stayed and it is sad to see how deteriorated this resort has gotten. I killed a small roach and found bugs in our bed. Food ordered at the bar was not cooked well. Very disappointed. Only good thing is that Disney Springs is across the bridge.
