750 rooms and suites. All with air-conditioning, 43" flat-screen TV, telephone, alarm clock, mini-fridge, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and complimentary WiFi access. 

Standard Rooms feature 2 queen-size beds sleeping maximum 4 persons.

Pool View rooms have 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 persons. 

2-Bedroom Suites feature a kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker and picnic-style dining table. The first bedroom has 2 queen-sized beds, and the second has 1 queen-size bed, sleeping maximum 6 persons.

I couldn’t have asked for more from a “budget” resort. We booked the suite which has 2 sleeping areas. It was extremely clean, but note that storage is very limited. The food is all cafeteria style but they offer everything you could possibly want, and the quality is very good. Staff is very pleasant everywhere. Our only glitch was waiting well past the 4:00 check in to get into our room. We were tired and wanted to get settled in. The only explanation we were given was it was being cleaned, but we waited close to 2 hours. They did comp our parking for the week and gave us some meal tickets which was a nice gesture and made me feel much better about everything. I would definitely go back. Read less

The staff are amazing the pool had a great chilled out vibe as did the bar the shuttle bus to the parks ran very often drivers so friendly the food was delicious. this hotel will steal your money. they took out £202 twice once on friday 21st june and again today and im not even in america any more they said the first change was for a smoking fee in the room . we didn’t smoke in the room we went out side . my parter made a joint of weed and left the cigarette ends on the table as we was going to clean the… Read more
this hotel will steal your money. they took out £202 twice once on friday 21st june and again today and im not even in america any more they said the first change was for a smoking fee in the room . we didn’t smoke in the room we went out side . my parter made a joint of weed and left the cigarette ends on the table as we was going to clean the room that night. they basically said they didn’t care if i smoked inside or out side but they will not remove the charge . and again today they stole £203 so i’ve had enough my bank is going to do a charge back in the next 2-3 days and i’ve got a new card with different details in the post . we basically spent £4500 when we booked the holiday and then we spent over £4000 while we was there as everything is so expensive. if you have been to this hotel i would check your bank statement . there is no way i’m letting them get away with this … oh and they said they had picture evidence … it’s not evidence all you see is the ripped up cigarette ends from using the tobacco for the joint of week . the cigarette where not lit ever in the room. we would go to the car park smoking area or we would go and chill at the back off the pool area in the smoking area . Universal we was thinking of coming back in october as well to dockside but we are not now. we going to disney hotels instead. all you do is steal money from people . twice. ps it says direct card purchase on them i’m not even in america anymore . the bank said surfside have basically stole from my bank account with out me knowing and with no email or text or phone call. just took money out and nothing, not a word from them. Pool area large and always plenty of beds.My teen boys loved the gym and especially loved the gym showers. The cleaning throughout you couldnt fault. Restaurant good for quick bute and refillable cups great for kids. Shuttle buses very frequent to park and i trolley stop outside the door for travel along i drive. Will def reccomend this hotel to anyone going to Universal. Read less
