The hotel

At Disney’s All-Star Resorts, larger-than-life sports, music and movie icons surround the rooms as Disney's quality and unique styling is everywhere you look. All three hotels are situated close to the Theme Parks, providing a holiday home for rest and relaxation right in the heart of the action. The stage is set at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, as massive figures from your favourite Disney movies take a starring role— from the dotted pups of 101 Dalmations to the playful toys of Andy’s Room. The expansive main pool is inspired by Disney's Fantasia, but if you're looking for something a bit more relaxing - the hockey rink styled pool inspired by The Mighty Ducks film series might be your thing. And the theme continues in the food court as you find yourself in what resembles a grand movie theatre lobby with endless choices to curb your hunger. If being surrounded by Disney movies isn't enough, enjoy watching these films under the stars at night along with campfire activities for all the family to enjoy - a magical way to end the day.

In Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort area (approximately 15 minutes from the park by coach). Distance from Orlando International Airport: 24 miles.

Hotel information

Rooms and suites are situated on 3 floors in 10 buildings with 2 lifts per building. All have air-conditioning, cable TV with Disney Channel, complimentary WiFi access, coffee maker, safe, mini-fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. All rooms offer views of either the car park, courtyard, or pool area.

All Star Movies Standard Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children, plus one child under 3 years in a cot. 

All Star Movies Preferred Rooms have a preferred resort location. Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping a maximum 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children, plus one child under 3 years old in a cot. 

Please note: cots must be requested at time of booking.

Use of the Walt Disney World Resort Transportation System is included in your stay: Disney bus transportation is available to access hotels, parks, and Disney Springs.

loved this place. worth for the price paid. service was good. rooms are clean. dining was also good. best part is the transportation to parks and early or late entry. we booked directly with disney. they picked us from the airport. bags were taked at airport and got delivered to our room,

This is a great simple resort right in the heart of Walt Disney World. This has been our family's go to resort since 2000. We are in the park people and this checks the boxes of a clean resort with comfy beds and great water pressure in the shower.

I have complex feelings about the WDW Value Resorts. On one hand, I have mostly had good experiences with them, including a recent stellar stay at All Star Sports in July 2024, but as of late, there isn't a financial VALUE in the Value Resorts. I think this review requires that preface. So while I paid $257.65 for one night at a "budget style hotel" *gasp*, I did have a good recent stay. Was it worth that price tag?- I don't think so, and I would do it differently next time. We chose to stay at this hotel because we were going on a Disney Cruise and wanted to arrive a day early and have direct transportation from the resorts to the cruise port. I paid for a PREFERRED room, which meant that I was closer to the lobby. I chose this because we did Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party the night before and we knew the kids would be dragging at the end of the night. Again, this brought our cost for the room up by around another $20 per night, but if you're doing miles of walking, I highly recommend it as an investment to cut even 10 extra minutes of walking every day of your stay. We stayed in the Toy Story section which was charming. We had a queen bed and a murphy queen bed. Both were VERY comfortable beds- do not let the murphy bed scare you- you will sleep JUST AS WELL as the regular queen bed. Our room had the option for an adjoining room, but could not hear anything in the room next to us. There was a single serve coffee maker and mini-fridge/beverage cooler in the room (no freezer in this minifridge). There is not a microwave in this room. Our room was a quick 3 minute walk to the resort quick service dining hall. The dining hall was experiencing renovations during our stay which minimized the size of the dining area, however during meal times, we did not have any issue finding a table. There were endless options for picky and more exotic diners. Food quality was great and exactly what you would expect from Disney. There were a few plant based options for those who needed it. All of the staff were kind and able to answer any questions that we had in our one night stay. There are a few pools to enjoy, a small playground, an arcade, and a souvenir shop. This is a good standard hotel for a crash pad- a place to shower and a place to sleep. If you're doing a Disney Cruise Line vacation the following day, I think it's a great option for convenience. If you're doing a short Disney trip for a weekend and don't plan on having a car- it's good hotel for that. If you have a car available to you- you'll have better options available in the area for the same cost. You can get a similar quality hotel in the area for $75-100 less per night. If I had paid $150-175, I would have rated this MUCH MUCH higher, but I think if you're going to call this a "VALUE Resort", you have to offer the quality that this hotel offers at a VALUE rate. For what I paid, this is a 3/5 stars. Read less

These hotels are extremely loud! The doors slam and they slam hard because a lot of people are awake from 5am to get ready for the early hours. These hotels are extremely loud! The doors slam and they slam hard because a lot of people are awake from 5am to get ready for the early hours. The walls are thin you can hear conversations in the next room and kids running around in the room. (God knows how the rooms are small) So if you are a light sleeper I would advise against here. It was a painful 10 nights even with ear plugs in you can hear the doors slamming shut. The housekeeping is every other day - we have stayed in other hotels and it’s every day cheaper than a Disney hotel. The rooms are very clean though and the beds are comfortable enough for a motel. Staff are really friendly. We stayed through the hurricane and felt very safe in the room. Would I recommend it, probably not. There’s nothing special about the motel that makes you say go back. I would say stay somewhere more luxurious for the same price. My friend stayed in a local hotel and it was so much more premium for a lot less. The Disney transport is good if you want to use it, we had a car so didn’t take full advantage as it can get so busy and I have zero patience for waiting 20 minutes for another bus in 35c. The soap dispenser fell off the wall so I would check that was secured! Luckily I had got out the bath before that was it would have really hurt hitting someone especially a small child. Read less
