The hotel

Situated on a sparkling 25-acre lake near Disney’s Hollywood Studios and just a leisurely stroll from EPCOT, discover this grand New England-style resort hotel. Disney's Yacht Club Resort shares a host of amenities with it's pastel-toned sister, Disney's Yacht Club Resort. Most noticeable of these is the mini water park Stormalong Bay, featuring a sand bottom pool, water slides, a lazy river and whirlpools - keeping the little ones happy when you're not at the parks. For adults there's plenty to do too, with the Ship Shape health club on site to work off some steam, or enjoy a mouth-watering steak dinner at the sophisticated Yachtsman restaurant. There's plenty of casual options too, along with tennis and volleyball courts to keep all ages entertained. At this hotel you're located right next to the marina where, in addition to renting boats to sail around Crescent Lake, you can board a ferryboat for direct transportation to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s BoardWalk. It's worth looking at the options to upgrade to a club level room for access to the lounge with refreshments available throughout the day.

Pure perfection from the coastal preppy vibe when you enter the lobby, to great location, to the best Disney pool experience and friendly service. We splurged on the concierge level and it exceeded all of our expectations. That cold filter water and the Parker house shrimp rolls and the crudites of my dreams. We had an amazing view, quiet floor. Loved it all. Barn sliding doors not my favorite for the bathroom only small complaint. Rooms refreshed very lovely. Read less

Our family of 4 spent 7 nights here over July 4 week. We booked a standard view room. The size of the room was more than ample for your family. The hotel did provide housekeeping daily. Since so, many hotels have stopped doing this post Covid, this was a really nice and appreciated feature. Important note for those that have not been here before, yacht club and beach club are connected and essentially one larger resort. The location is absolutely fantastic. First off, there is only one bus stop for the yacht club and it is directly in front of the main lobby. This is extremely nice and very convenient. It’s a short five minute walk to Epcot and a little less than 1 mile walk on the sidewalk to Hollywood Studios. There is boat service to both of these parks, but we chose to walk to save a little bit of time. This allowed us to get to the parks on our own schedule and a little bit earlier. The buses to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom were very easy and consistent. The water park, Stormalong Bay with its pools and lazy river were incredibly nice feature. We were slated to go to Typhoon Lagoon for two full days and ended up only going once because we wanted to spend more time at the waterpark at our hotel. The pool area opens promptly at 10 o’clock and if you want a good chair with umbrella space you need to be down there by 9:40 or 945. There is ample towels available to guess. You are required to wear a wristband to prove that you are a guest. Servers do come and check on guests throughout the day offering food and beverage service to anyone in the pool area. They will serve food from hurricane Hannah‘s, which is a nearby pool bar. The food and drinks selection were very solid. It was very nice to have this feature. My only critique of this hotel is Beach Club/Yacht Club do not have very many quick service dining options. Lots of table service options and they are all very good. We did eat at Beaches and Cream and love the food. Hurricane Hanna’s was also okay. We did walk to the Boardwalk and eat at the Deli one day for lunch. It was excellent. The only downside to this trip was the housekeeping stole my daughters, Anna doll. Its possible, it was accidentally picked up with the bedding change but the staff never checked-in with us and they seemed to forget about it despite 3 different conversations about it. My daughter has had this doll for 6 years and of-course you cant replace it due to it not being made any longer. This was not the Disney response we expected. Read less

Had a wonderful stay at the Yacht Club. Booked a resort view room and had a view of the gazebo and a side view of the marina and fireworks! Housekeeping did a great job and pool was amazing. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Loved it so much we booked the resort for 2025!0

Image of the Tripadvisor rating One of the Best Club Level experiences in the 35 years that I have been going to Disneyworld!

Jun 25, 2024 NannyBWilson Longview, Texas

We were at Yacht Club - Club Level middle of May 2024. It was one if the absolute Best Club level experiences that I have ever had. Club level staff and staff in lounge went above and beyond the entire stay. Highly recommend this resort if going to Disneyworld.
