Bandos Maldives is a perfect setting for a romantic getaway or two weeks of heaven away from the pressures of everyday life. For those looking for a more active holiday, there's plenty to do. The resort has a state-of-the-art sports complex, a swimming pool and wading pool for children, and a water sports centre. The PADI dive centre, run by a team of experienced instructors, offers the chance to view sharks, rays and turtles in their natural habitat. The reef at Bandos is one of the best in the North Malé Atoll and you'll also have access to over 40 different dive locations further afield. Located in North Male Atoll, approximately 10-15 minutes from Male airport by speedboat.

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner served at Gallery Restaurant during allocated meal times. Dining at other establishments will incur an additional charge.
  • Carbonated and non-carbonated bottled water served at all food and beverage outlets.
  • Tea, coffee, Americano, Espresso, Cappuccino and Cafe Latte served at Sand Bar, Huvan, Sea Breeze and Gallery Restaurant.
  • Soft drinks and canned fruit juices served at the Sand Bar, Pool Bar, Huvan, Sea Breeze and Gallery Restaurant. Fresh fruit juice will incur an extra charge.
  • House wine served at Sand Bar, Pool Bar, Huvan, Sea Breeze and Gallery Restaurant. Premium brands of wine and all sparkling wines are chargeable.
  • Draught beer is available from the Sand Bar, Pool Bar, Huvan, Sea Breeze and Gallery Restaurant.
  • House spirit (gin, vodka, rum and whiskey) is available from Sand Bar, Huvan, Sea Breeze, and Gallery Restaurant. Premium brands of spirits are available at an extra charge.
  • Selected cocktails and mocktails are available from Sand Bar, Pool  Bar, Sea Breeze and Huvan.
  • Daily tea, coffee and snacks served on display are available from Sea Breeze from 15:30-17:00hrs.
  • All drinks are served one glass at a time.
  • Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks from minibar (refilled once per day on a regular schedule).
  • Windsurfing, canoeing and stand up paddling are included - maximum of 02 hours per person per day.
  • Table tennis and billiards are included.
  • Use of gymnasium, fitness centre, spinning step classes, steam room and sauna.
  • Daylight tennis facilities with equipment.
  • All of the above are subject to availability.

Garden Villas are conveniently located to the swimming pool and clubhouse and have 1 double bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Deluxe Beachfront Rooms have a spacious layout that’s great for families, with a living area, a bathtub in the bathroom, and twin beds or 1 double bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults and 1 child.

Superior Villas feature whitewashed interiors and modern furnishings, with an outdoor shower and 1 double bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Beach Villas are stylishly decorated, with direct access to the beach and an outdoor shower With 1 double bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Premium Beach Villas are duplex rooms, set a mere stroll away from your exclusive strip of beach. With ample living space on the ground floor, a large sundeck, and a modern bathroom with outdoor jetted tub. The bedroom upstairs has a balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows with beach vistas. Sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults and 1 child.

Beach Pool Villas are modern, featuring a private infinity plunge pool looking out to sea, as well as a Cabana sun deck and outdoor shower. The bathroom features a jetted tub. With 1 double bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Water Villas are located on stilts over the water as if floating on the sea, offering privacy, seclusion, and uninterrupted ocean views. With a private infinity pool, sun deck and sun beds, direct access to the lagoon, outdoor shower, and capsule coffee machine. With 1 double bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Gallery Restaurant (main buffet restaurant). Grill Bar (indoor and outdoor seating with ocean views). Sea Breeze (over-water deck serving a variety cuisine). Huvan (large sundeck with sunset views). Sand Bar (with karaoke and entertainment). Pool Bar (swim-up bar). Umi Yaki (seaside grill).

Fantastic taste food, clean and soft beach, good rooms and staff. Recommend 100%, it was FB but enough, always 4 bottle of water in the rooms, a lot of tasty meal in the main restaurant.

I loved the stay at Bandos, the rooms were clean and nice. They were cleaned twice a day. The food at the restaurant was delicious and had a great variety. Luckily I took a package that included both breakfast and dinner.

Just few hours ago i checked out from Bandos Maldives. And my experience was really awesome despite some flaws which realky annoyed me. I will list down what worked for me and what not. Pros : 1) If we decide to vacation in the Maldives again, we would choose Bandos specifically because of the Kokko Kids Club. A special thanks to Liberty and Charity—they looked after my children throughout our entire stay until we checked out. My kids already miss them dearly. During our six nights there, they organized activities such as Kids Disco, movie screenings, arts and crafts, Crab races, and Karaoke nights. In fact, I didn't need to buy souvenirs separately because my kids made them with Liberty and Charity's help. Everyone at the Clubhouse was incredibly kind and always had a smile, which made my kids and wife want to visit them every day. 2) Being a non-swimmer, I always dreamed of snorkeling. Bandos made it possible with its stunning house reef right by the beach that extends into the deep ocean. Here, I experienced snorkeling for the first time, creating a wonderful memory. 3) The housekeeping service was outstanding. I never needed to contact them; they ensured my stay was effortless. 4) Fazal and Jaanu at the Gallery restuarant looked after us during all meals. What didnt worked out for me ? Definetely the reception team. I found all of them (literally) had attitude and they never bothered to explain about Anything ( for ex., excursion, amenities, etc) . When i asked , i was told that i will get a whats app message. Another bitter incident with reception during checkout- Some of them were chewing gums ( thats not my problem) but giving strange look with attitude as if im staying there for free when asked about final bill. This really pissed me off, where another group was given more attention, and they didnt ask me to even sit. Come on guys, im not looking for luxury but where is your manners ? Why making me to wait without even looking at my face ? 2) The bathroom doors in 278 room needs attention, as almost everytime my kids got stuck inside and i had to open with a metal pointer. Pls fix the lock, its very tight. 3) i was expecting maybe around 10-20 ppl for dolphin cruise, but unfortunately the turn out was 51 ppl, and they arranged a big boat. So i felt it was crowded with loud shout and the manuvering to chase the dolphins was not easy. I didnt enjoy it much. Despite all these flaws , i really loved my stay in Bandos because of those positive things i mentioned above. We would return to it again, and I hope management fixes the issues i mentioned here. Terrible service for the price we paid for. No attentive staff, breakfast was cheap with few options, wine that promised came late, alcohol is overpriced. No helpful info given out to assist, I feel that staying here is a waste of money. Overwater room is nice thats about it.
