Heritance Aarah is a luxurious resort in the secluded and picturesque islands of the Raa Atoll. Offering it's visitors pristine, golden beaches and beautifully clear turquoise waters, this resort brings to life everything you expected the Maldives to be from the moment you step foot off your seaplane transfer. The resort features a variety of different accommodation options such as Beach Villas that provide direct access to stretches of heavenly Indian Ocean and more luxurious such as overwater villas and suites, each with direct step access to the beautiful blue waters from your private sun deck. There's also a mix of sumptuous cuisines for you to indulge in from sunrise to sunset and with premium all-inclusive you can enjoy all your favourite drinks to with each culinary masterclass.  This resort is jampacked full of amenities on both land and sea, making it the perfect location for couples and families alike, the resort offers an array of recreational activities, such as snorkelling, diving, football, tennis and even excursions to nearby islands, allowing guests to work up a sweat, explore the vibrant underwater world or just enjoy the natural beauty of the Maldives. Where is it

Within the scenic Raa Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 25kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Hotel information

150 suites, ocean villa and land villas. All with flat-screen TV, safe, Marshall bluetooth speaker, WiFi access, mini-bar, tea/coffee-making facilities and espresso machine. Beach Villas have direct access to the beach from the private sundeck and separate en-suite bathroom with bath and outdoor shower. Featuring 1 king-size bed, sleeping a maximum of 3 adults. 


Premium All-Inclusive: includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at all restaurants (Hathaa dining will be subject to an additional supplement, Baani dining is for Ocean Suite and Ocean Resident guests only). Mini-bar replenished twice daily. Complimentary bottle of sparkling wine/champagne* on arrival. Two complimentary bottles of water, per day. Two bottles of spirits selected by the guest added to the in-villa mini bar daily. In villa dining**. Cooking classes. Cocktail masterclasses. Ice cream, candy and cocktails.

Ocean Villas have direct step access to the ocean from the private sundeck. Private en-suite bathroom and 1 king-size or twin-sized bed and over-sized day bed. Sleeps a maximum of 3 adults.

Pool Beach Villas are larger in size than standard Beach Villas and feature their own private plunge pool and have 1 King-sized bed and an over-sized daybed. Sleeps a maximum of 3 adults.

Family Beach Villas are generously sized and have direct beach access. They have a spacious en-suite bathroom with a bath, jacuzzi and outdoor shower. The first room features a King-sized bed and an oversized day bed and the second bedroom features twin beds and an oversized day bed. Sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children.

Family Pool Beach Villas are slightly larger in size than the Family Beach Villa and have the same sleeping arrangements and bathroom amenities, with the addition of a private plunge pool on the sundeck. Sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children.

Ocean Suites with Infinity Pool are a luxurious experience, featuring direct step access to the ocean and private infinity pool. Rooms feature private en-suite bathroom with bath tub and have 1 King-size bed. Sleeps a maximum of 2 adults.

Ocean Residence with Infinity Lap Pool is the largest room type available at nearly 300sq metres. This suite includes a spacious en-suite bathroom with bath tub on both floors, two king-sized beds and a single bed. Sleeps a maximum 6 adults with an additional bed.

Ranba (Serving international cuisine, buffet style. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner). Ralu (serving French and Italian cuisine, open 07:00am-22:00pm). We had an excellent time in Heritance Aarah as a family of 3. It was one of the best holidays we have had. The first thing to mention is the importance of your personal guide/butler. Each resort is an island and an assigned host makes a huge difference to your stay. We were very lucky to have Faya assigned to us! He was exceptional, highly professional, truly understood our style and went above and beyond to look after us. The resort itself was perfect for us. Medium sized, plenty of space in the villas and the islands to feel privacy but also the opportunity to enjoy some company of others in the various bars. The restaurants are very good and on par with the best all inclusive restaurants we’ve been to (Ikos a good comparison). The staff are excellent. Sakshi and Manjula in the bar area really looked after us. Deep in the kitchen cooked us amazing meals at request. Ibbe and A-jay in Rambla catered to all our needs. All of this was orchestrated by Faya and the wider team. We will definitely return. If anyone is wondering if they should visit Maldives or Heritance Aarah in July, I would highly recommend. The weather can be unpredictable but clears off quickly. The marine life around the resort is very rich and the reef from the beach is excellent. We saw a lot of rich sea life. We stayed for 11 nights for our honeymoon, and everything was amazing. All the staff are a credit to the resort and are so friendly. Special mention to Deepak in Ralu who looked after us really well and made sure anything we needed was catered for. Also special mention to our butler Arka who organised everything for us during our stay, such as dinner reservations and excursions. He was super helpful with anything we needed whether it be extra teabags for the room or a lift to the other side of the resort. He also checked in regularly via whatsapp just to make sure everything was ok and whether we needed anything, thank you Arka! Food in the resort was top notch, plenty of 5* fancy food but also plenty of choice for plain diners like myself, nothing was too much trouble and was just a matter of asking the staff who were super helpful. Dear team of Heritance Aarah, we enjoyed our stay very much and would like to take the opportunity to say thank you from the heart to the complete team who made our stay unforgettable. We would like to thank especially our butler Arka, who was extremely helpful, helped with restaurant bookings and other organizational issues, delivered and returned our snorkelling equipment. Also, he gave us a lift whereever and whenever needed. We also enjoyed the sand paintings at our front door by our room boy Nabil a lot. Many thanks to Mani Kanth and Ishan at Hathaa Teppenyaki Restaurant for a delicious, entertaining evening. At Ralu restaurant, Rain made our stay very pleasant, was always very polite and helpful. Nice beach, wonderful food, warm service! Asjau gave us a really good service， patient and kind. All the arrangement is super sweet, last night dinner was so impressive! Sit beside the sea, watch the fishes, taste good wine pairing the nice food!
