Everything is excellent !! I have been to 4 resorts in the Maldives. but ozen bolifushi was the best. we stayed 10 days with 2 small children and everything was absolutely perfect. the food, the pastry service were 5 stars. the friendliest staff we have ever encountered. A once in a lifetime experience! I can't say enough wonderful things about this resort, it's people and the location! First of all, they take care of you from the moment you step off the plane. They have a private lounge for their guests to relax in while you wait for your air conditioned catamaran to take you to the resort. (about a 35min ride). The water can get a little choppy but tell them, and they have sea sick medicine for you! As you arrive, you are greeted by staff and the butlers (according to your accommodations). You are then taken on a tour of all the highlights in the cutest golf carts I've ever seen! Our butler, Saleem was absolutely incredible. His warm smile greeted us and was always present when we saw him! While waiting for your room, you can relax in the Ozar bar (and partake of their amazing cocktails and snacks), grab lunch at the Vista del Mar restaurant or peruse the area around you. We stayed at the bar and admired the unbelievably blue/turquoise water and just took it all in! Once in your room you are free to roam around at your leisure! They provide bicycles for you during your stay or you can walk or call for a ride. Our over water bungalow with slide was immaculate! There is so much space for two people! Double sinks in the bathroom, private toilet room with bidet, deep bathtub and walk in shower. The closets offer plenty of room for you to unpack and settle in! The sitting area has a peek a boo glass floor to spot the colorful fish as they swim by. The mini bar is more than adequate with ample drinks, tea and Nespresso coffee. And if you run out of anything or have any preferences, simply text your butler and all is handled! We are pretty low maintenance when we travel but every request was addressed quickly and beyond our satisfaction. Our bungalow had a large outside patio with table, overwater hammock and personal infinity pool. This was our rest spot at the end of the day before getting ready for drinks and dinner each night. It was also a great place to see the sunrise - if you're an early riser. The gym was decent size and more than adequate with a couple treadmills and elliptical machines. It was also equipped with weights, pulley machine, and an onsite trainer! To say the food was delicious would be an understatement. Everything we ate was of the best quality and truly flavorful! We were lucky enough to eat at each restaurant at least once and we couldn't pick a favorite meal! The service at each restaurant was absolutely wonderful! Eating at Saffron (Indian restaurant) is a unique experience and the flavors were amazing. We were lucky to be invited to their champagne pairing dinner at Saffron. I have never tasted dishes so full of flavor and presented so beautifully! And the champagne wasn't half bad either! (wink wink) Origine (French) was so romantic and the food is like art! Sangu at dinner is not only plentiful and delicious but entertaining! They had a belly dancer that was incredible! Vista Del Mar at dinner offers so many options and each dish is cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the lamb chops! Soyi (Asian) offers delectable appetizers and the flavors were out of this world. Deciding what to order has never been so difficult! Every member of staff is so attentive and anticipates your every need. And don't get me started on the cocktails! The drinks are so unique and delicious and our servers were the most lovely people we've met! Be sure to get specialty cocktails at the Sangu Beach bar from Kai! He is a master at what he does! And the views only add to the experience! Non motorized water sports were included in our package and we took advantage of it! We snorkeled everyday! I swear they must ship the fish in because I have never seen so many fish in my life - and I've snorkeled just about everywhere! The water is a great temperature and calm. It was our favorite activity on this trip! We also took advantage of the spa which is so charming! We did couples massages and our technicians were fantastic! The spa bungalows are over the water and also have small glass window cut outs in the floor below your table so you can see the fish while getting your treatment. It was such a great way to add to our relaxation on this trip! It sounds cliche but I did tear up a bit when we left. Not just because we were heading back to reality but because we were leaving such a beautiful place and beautiful people! It was our 25th anniversary and they made us feel so special with little touches along the way and it meant so much to us! We stayed for 7 nights and really got to know some of the incredible staff and it was hard to say good bye! The hospitality, conversation and warmth they shared with us on the trip was truly special and I will never forget it! So, if you are considering a trip to the Maldives, I 100% recommend the Ozen Bolifushi! I don't know how another trip for us could ever top it! Read less

Overall, it offers a wonderful experience that truly deserves five stars, both in terms of the staff’s attentiveness and the facilities provided by the resort. There are very few aspects I could criticize. Some areas could benefit from minor maintenance and renovations. It would also be nice if the glass-bottomed canoe was included in the all-inclusive package, and if it could be taken to areas where a true underwater experience is visible. Aside from such small details, it provides an excellent holiday experience. Read less
