We have just spent the most beautiful and dreamy holiday in paradise that you can imagine. At Siyam World, everything is done to make you feel completely at home! No wish remains unfulfilled here. The holiday begins as soon as you enter the Siyam lounge at the seaplane terminal. The transport to the island by seaplane is also a great adventure for everyone. After the warm arrival on the island with a chain of palm trees and southern sounds, you literally enter paradise. Starting with the wonderful water villas, the phenomenal food and the numerous activities (fun tube, windsurfing, water park, horseback riding on the beach, go-kart track and countless other offers). You can also find peace and relaxation in the spa, where I had the best massages of my life. We will definitely be back soon and are already counting down the days! Read less

Amazing experience

We visited Siyam World for 7 nights in July as a family of four and had the most amazing experience. The island is stunning, the staff are incredibly friendly and professional, the food was high quality and there’s plenty to do - we didn’t want to leave! Just be sure to pack some mossie repellent as that’s the only bad thing here. The tone of high quality and attention to detail was set right at the start, with the excellent Siyam lounge as we waited for the seaplane. My wife and I had a complementary head and shoulder massage which was lovely after a couple of long flights. The seaplane itself was a great experience with amazing views. Once we got to the resort we were delighted with our rooms - we stayed in a couple of overwater villas which were spacious and well appointed, as well as having those slides straight into the water for a bit of fun. Being one of the largest resorts in the area, the island offers a host of activities which was why we chose it over one of the smaller resorts. We enjoyed the water sport - snorkelling most days and going out on kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. We also had a blast on a jet ski to try out the motorised options. We walked around the island a fair bit (it’s about 4 and a half kilometres round) but there were always plenty of buses buzzing about that you could jump on if you were feeling a bit tired. We hired bikes one day and thoroughly enjoyed riding round the island. The gym was also surprisingly well equipped and I took several personal training sessions with Jojy the coach there. He was excellent - very knowledgeable and with a pleasant manner. Best PT experience I’ve had. I’d recommend booking in with him - it’s a good way to counteract any overindulgence on the excellent food that’s on offer! We took our breakfast in Kaage most mornings - it had a lovely location on the beach and a decent variety of options. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lunch options at Jungali, Shipwrecked and Together Bar were all excellent and again the staff were super attentive - very quick to come over with drinks and keep water topped up etc. We tended to go to Orchid Bar for pre-dinner drinks - they had a good choice of cocktails and there was a lovely vibe to the place. The bar staff were all lovely there, particularly Mamata who had a lovely friendly way to her and always had a nice chat with us each night. She went out of her way to make sure we got lovely photos of the family at sunset - she’s an excellent photographer! We ate in all the different restaurants as we’re not big buffet fans (we did one night in the buffet and it was ok). All the restaurants were very good but Kurry Leaf and Wahu Grill stood out as having the best dishes and atmosphere. The evening entertainment was a bit limited and what there was wasn’t really our sort of thing but that’s not what this sort of place is all about so I wouldn’t mark it down for that - there’s so much to do during the day that an early night made more sense anyway. After dinner most nights we headed to the pier to watch the fishes that gathered there - they have floodlights set up so you get an amazing view and we found it mesmerising watching them swim back and forth. Overall, we had a fabulous holiday. It’s a beautiful island, the quality of accommodation is high, the activities are great, the food is consistently good and the staff were very impressive throughout our stay. The best holiday

We had the most amazing experience of island &hotel hospitality of our life Our ambassador(pramith) managed everything for us 24h We didnt expect such great holiday It was our best trip after 7years marrage 🙂 We didnt have the honeymoon we wanted on our marrage year and we were looking for the one experience After 7years the resort even did a honeymoon decoration i asked them My wife was so suprised The island is so big we tried getting a bike and we couldnt stop biking around the island Lots of resturants and bars and pools that is difficult to choose your day selection for visit All stuff were very friendly The beach was so white and lovely We tried snorkling from our room and the beach both were great I give sun siyam resort 10 out 10 Thank you siyam world for making such a wonderfull holiday for us And thank you piramith 🙏🏻 Read less

Truly spectacular

My husband and I went to Siyam World from the 26th of June to the 10th of July 2024 and had a truly fantastic holiday. Siyam World is paradise from the moment you step off the seaplane you are greeted by the wonderful staff who go above and beyond to welcome you and make your stay truly unforgettable. We stayed in an over the ocean villa with private pool and slide and it was amazing. The villa was so clean and well stocked. Our housekeeper Mode was amazing from start to finish. He kept our room immaculately clean. Every night he turned down our bed and on occasions left us cute sentiments by way of towel origami and plant leaf hearts. The views were absolutely stunning and the sea life truly amazing. As it was just my husband and I we went to the adults only Mint Bar during the day as we were looking for a quiet space. The Mint Bar is amazing and the sunset views are breathtaking. I have to give a big shout out to the staff at the Mint Bar, Shella, Arvin, Rijan, Arli, Suranga, Gilbert and Jawa, thank you so much, you are all so awesome. They could not do more for us, they were so attentive. They really made our stay wonderful. The restaurants again fantastic, the food is delicious. We are not big buffet fans but the food at Tempo was phenomenal. Our favourite restaurants were the Indian restaurant, Kurry Leaf and the Thai restaurant, Takrai. We downloaded the Siyam World App in advance and booked the restaurants before we arrived which worked really well as we secured the dates and times that worked for us. We were also able to book excursions in advance too. A piece of advice I would definitely recommend booking the WOW Inclusive included Snorkelling Safari or Sunset cruise as soon as you arrive as these get booked very quickly. We took advantage of the included snorkelling safari and it did not disappoint. The marine life is spectacular and we were lucky to get to see the Black Tip Reef Shark which was amazing. I would recommend this excursion over the Sunset cruise as being able to see the sunset clearly was hit and miss whilst we were there. Out of 14 nights we saw the sunset without cloud twice. We were very lucky as we did the Sunset Dolphin Cruise and that night the sunset was amazing and we saw the dolphins too. I would definitely recommend this excursion. In the evening after dinner we would head to Together Bar for the evening entertainment. The entertainment staff are very good the only criticism would be that they have a week’s programme so if you are there longer than a week you start to see the same shows. A must visit for us was at the end of the Maruhaba Jetty or the Island Pier in the evening as the fish are attracted to the lights and there is an abundance of marine life including quite a few Black Tip Reef Sharks it was amazing. Also we would walk back to our villa at night along the beach as the stars are so bright and looking up and seeing them against the Palm Trees was stunning. Siyam World was absolute paradise, the location is truly out of this world and the staff could not be friendlier and they go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely be going back and will be telling our family and friends they need to go at least once in their lifetime. Read less
