When you step through the doors of this Adults Only resort, you'll instantly know you've reached paradise. Soak up the splendour of your surroundings with typical Mauritian architecture, decor inspired by the sea, and a roundabout bar with 360º views of the pool and glistening ocean beyond. You can spend your days trying out water sports, including glass bottom boat rides, and there's also a luxurious spa (not forgetting the 3 swimming pools too) for those relaxing days. Either way, we guarantee you won't want to leave.

Where is it

In the North of Mauritius, on the shores of Anse la Raie lagoon. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: 1 hour 30 minutes.

Hotel information

182 rooms. All with private terrace or balcony, air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar, WiFi, hairdryer, and safe. Couple Rooms are 375 sq ft and are located amongst the gardens, with 1 double-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

All Inclusive of: breakfast in the main restaurant, Bénitier. Lunch at Bénitier, Taba-J and Coral. Dinner is on a dine-around basis and is applicable in 4 restaurants. A selection of local beverages including water, beer, tea/coffee, soft drinks, table wine, local alcohols and spirits. A selection of local drinks from the mini-bar. A selection of tea/coffee and snacks at the Bulk Shop. Afternoon tea from 3.30pm-6.00pm (self-service, pastries at the Coral bar and local goodies near the main pool). Local snacks served with evening drinks.

Couple Poolside Rooms are 375 sq ft and ovelookng the gardens and one of the pools, with 1 double-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Couple Seafront Rooms a 375 sq ft and have views of the ocean, with 1 double-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Suites are 485 sq ft and have a private outside bathtub and terrace, with 1 double-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

5 restaurants; Le Bénitier (local and international food, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Coral (à la carte fish and seafood, dinner), Lemongrass (Asian cuisine, dinner), Kot Nou (Mauritian dishes, dinner), Taba-J (Mauritian street food concept, lunch). 5 bars including a juice bar and tea bar. 

Live music 5 times a week. DJ parties twice a week including one beach party and one pool party (weather permitting).

3 swimming pools. Spa POZ*. Fitness centre. Non-motorised water sports. 2 paddle courts and 1 tennis court. Yoga. Otentik Experiences (a meal with a family in a local home, a Mauritian cooking lesson and a stop at the Otentik Bazar). Eco-workshops. New yoga activity on the hotels catamaran including meditation exercises and sunset drinks* (once a week, reservation required).

This is a very beautiful property situated in north of the island, their staff is super efficient and supportive. If you visit here do go to their restaurant Taba-J and Kotnou you’ll find Krisha the head waiter he will help you with everything. And Mr Rishi F&B manager.

Environmental friendly hotel. Friendly employees and good facilities. Spacious room. Wide local food variety. Clean beach Suggestion: to equip parking with an electric recharging point for visitors hiring EV vehicles for sightseeing

Amazing hotel Very peaceful with the quiet, lively and local areas We moved from another hotel to this one and was not disappointed The hotel manager Raj was amazing and our house keeper Begum too Nothing was too much for any of the staff absolutely amazed with the friendliness and the food was equally amazing Will definitely be back

Our last meal on our honeymoon and we have had the best time amazing place, beautiful outdoor setting and amazing tasting food at Kot Nou one of the three bookable restaurants on the resort (included with all exclusive) really looked after by Krishna highly recommend and the rum shot after perfect

We visited Lagoon Attitude in October 2023 and had an amazing time! The first thing to be said is how friendly and attentive all the staff are! From the minute we stepped foot at the hotel we experienced excellent service from everyone we met. Rita was the lovely lady who cleaned our room every day. She was so lovely and you can tell she cared about her job so much. We also experienced the legend that is Reena at Kot Nou, which we visited multiple times and she always added a personal touch to the service. Nothing was too much for her, she led her team with enthusiasm and excellence and this is what made us keep going back there. The food at Lagoon Attitude is great - Taba J and Kot Nou were our personal favourites - the rotis and curries were outstanding. We were equally impressed by the buffet - it was the hotel’s 15th anniversary whilst we were there and the gala night was so impressive. I would say there are plenty of choices for places to eat. There is lots available to do at Lagoon Attitude - diving, watersports, boat trips. We did the glass bottom boat trip and the driver took us on a detour to see the red church at Cap Malheureux which we had driven past a couple of times and wanted to stop to see, so this was a great way to do it. The beach was always so clean, with plenty of sunbeds and places to sit. Our room was always kept immaculately and there was always something different made out of the towels on our return. I would say there are areas in the bathroom in particular that were a little tired and could do with a refresh however this is not something that negatively impacted our experience. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, it is a tropical paradise and again, the grounds keepers work so hard to maintain this. We would recommend that anyone visiting rent a car, which we did for a couple of days. We did a dolphin swim, visited Casela Park, the Botancial Gardens, the 7 Coloured Earth and L’Aventure du Sucre. Mauritius is such a special place and we had such a great holiday that we have booked to come back in October 2024 but this time we are going to try the Ravenala Attitude. We can’t wait. Read less
