Mauritius boasts of several amazing resorts. This is right among the best. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Our rooms faced the ocean, were large and comfortable. They also have a number of awesome eating options, several swimming pools and an indoor gaming area. We specifically liked the dinner at Nomad.

Staff are absolutely amazing and friendly, they went above and beyond for me and my dad as it was our birthday, giving us cakes, presents. and room decor of rose petals as well as friendly faces and happy smiles all around. The facilities were fabulous of having so many options to choose from no matter the weather from sun shining to the rainy days. Everything we dreamed of and more! This was our Silver wedding Anniversary trip that was supposed to happen in 2020! After numerous postponements, we cancelled but finally got to go at the beginning of June 24! I spent those 4 years researching and decided on the Northwest due to travelling in June, Mauritius winter. We made the right decision. During our ten days we had 2 rain storms, both at night and just 2 days of cloud/sun, then rest of the time was beautiful and sunny. At the same time the East and South experienced unsettled weather. The hotel - wow! We stayed in the adults only Nirvana section and were treated like royalty. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean with a beautiful balcony overlooking the beach and the sea. We were welcomed by our main butler, Angele who is just the most beautiful soul, clearly loves her job and is totally dedicated to making sure EVERY aspect of our stay was perfect, even messaging us on her days off to check we were ok. Thank you Angele, we will never forget you and we wish you every success in your future career ❤️ On Angele’s days off we were looked after by Shaleel who was also checking on us regularly and also confirming restaurant bookings etc. The restaurants and food are incredible, every meal we had was just beautiful. We ate breakfast every morning in O Jade, sitting overlooking the sea, which was breathtaking. Then in the evening this restaurant served incredible Asian food. We also enjoyed a fun night at the Teppanyaki table, with a very talented young lady chef, sorry I can’t remember her name. All the staff in O Jade were just so lovely and so attentive, Meenakshi and Santi were great fun, Baboo, Ashlay and Alexia were also brilliant and never missed an empty cup or bowl! In the evenings at O Jade, Luveen and Leonardo could not do enough and made every visit just perfect. Leonardo, you are wonderful, so much fun with a beautiful smile and a total dedication to making our experience perfect, thank you and good luck with ‘hotel school’, you will go a long way with your attitude to customer service! Kumin, the Indian restaurant was incredible and we were looked after by Rhoshan, who kept my husband supplied with the best lime pickle he has ever tasted😜 Waves restaurant had fantastic sea food and we had a wonderful romantic meal on the beach. We were looked after by Shutti, such a lovely happy young lady. Finally, the guys at the pool bar at Nirvana were fab, never let you lift a finger. Rhoshan, Panchoo, Arayan, Aman and Ashfin, thank you so much for looking after us so well! Sundowner cocktails every evening are definitely missed! Without a doubt this hotel was beyond our hopes and expectations and we have some wonderful memories to last a lifetime. If you want to discover the island I can highly recommend getting in touch with Arnaud Peka of Peak Tours. I liaised with Arnaud before we arrived and he organised a tour for us with his colleague Jonathan around the North, a private speed boat with the amazing Christopher around the Islands in the East and he himself took us all around the South of the island, managing to get us to the sights when the larger tours weren’t there which was great! Amazing service, quick service, nice employees clean nice rooms pretty views and beach with nice sunsets many activities to choose from by the beach like boat ride , parasailing and more. Yummy food and many options to choose from like pizza , rice and chicken curry.
