The hotel

Nestled in beautiful tropical gardens, Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel is a gorgeous adults-only boutique hotel, offering guests a secluded retreat from the world. Aptly named, it really is paradise here with a pristine white beach and exceptional views of the lagoon and the northern islands from the peninsula. Highly romantic, the resort even offers ‘love nest’ twin sun beds. Also recommended is a visit to Spa Cinq Mondes. Not only does it boast a pool, hammam and flower baths, you can treat yourself to an Indian Ayurvedic massage — sure to banish any lingering cares! At the Paradise Cove, water sports are very much the order of the day, from snorkelling to water-skiing. Come dusk, Stay Bar is the place to sip on tropical cocktails whilst admiring the sunset. There’s live and unplugged music here too but first enjoy dinner at a choice of restaurants. For local dishes, the Dining Room is ideal or experience Asian fusion cuisine at XO. For a real treat, book a table at The Cove — highly romantic, tables for two are set in small huts, right on the beach, beside a coconut grove.

Where is it

On the island’s north coast, overlooking a private and intimate beach. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route.

Hotel information

75 rooms. All with air-conditioning, balcony or veranda, satellite TV, telephone, complimentary WiFi internet access, mini-bar*, pillow menu, slippers, safe, hairdryer, iron and board. Deluxe Premium Rooms with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Half Board includes: breakfast in The Dining Room. Dinner in The Dining Room, XO or Peninsula.

Premium All Inclusive option: includes all meals on a dine around experience in 3 restaurants: The Dining Room, XO and Peninsula. Breakfast in The Dining Room and lunch at Peninsula or picnic basket for excursions. Sparkling wine by the glass (selection of 3 sparkling wines). Locally bottled wine by the glass (selection of 9 wines). A selection of local and international beverages from 8:00am-11:30pm. Local rum tasting demonstration once a week. Breakfast room service (continental breakfast). Snacks from 12:00pm-3:00pm. Afternoon tea from 4:00pm-5:00pm. Mini-bar refilled once a day; water, soft drinks, juices and local beer. One 20-minutes massage per person per stay.

Junior Suites have a living/sleeping area and coffee machine (1 complimentary set of capsules per day) with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Prestige Junior Suites offer the same facilities as the Junior Suites including a coffee machine (1 complimentary set of capsules per day) but are slightly larger with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Senior Suites have two terraces opening onto the beach/garden and a separate living room and a coffee machine (1 complimentary set of capsules per day) with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

The Dining Room (local and international cuisine; open for buffet and table d'hote breakfast and dinner). Peninsula Restaurant (local and international cuisine; open for à la carte lunch and dinner). XO (à la carte Asian fusion cuisine; open for dinner). The Cove* (à la carte seafood restaurant; open for dinner). Peninsula Bar (open 10:00am-11:00pm). Stay Bar (open 8:00am-11:30pm). Tea Bar. Beach Bar (departure and arrival lounge bar open 24/7 as a self-service bar; bar service open 8:00am-8:00pm).

 

Dress code - please note: 

Daytime: no wet beach wear, and guests are required to wear cover-ups. No bare chests in restaurants and bars - men should wear t-shirts.

Evening: no shorts, tank tops, singlets or flip flips are permitted in the restaurants.

Live unplugged music every evening, piano bar and sega show once a week.

We have just returned from an incredible 10 day stay at this beautiful hotel, everything has the wow factor, from the moment you arrive you are welcomed so warmly and all the staff go above and beyond to make your stay just perfect. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, we were lucky enough to have a room on the ground floor overlooking the cove, such a nice view to wake up to. The food is amazing, so much choice for breakfast lunch and dinner and a lovely option to choose between the XO and peninsula for dinner in the evening, the food is just outstanding, you won’t be disappointed. Always plenty of sunbeds around the top and bottom pools and they are heated, fresh pool towels daily in your room too. A lovely vibe in the evenings, always some live back ground music. Lots of activities if you choose to do them, we did the Catamaran trip and the bike ride which was brilliant. The spa is a must, treat yourself to a massage!! A special thank you to Sandia, Alison, Navia,Lavish, Mr Ali (taxi) and so many more but I can’t remember all your names!!, this trip will be one we talk about for many years, we are so very grateful for your kind hospitality. Special and romantic. That’s how we were made to feel!! What an amazing stay we had at Paradise Cove. We have so many thank you,s for all of you for making our holiday so memorable. We were greeted by Alison the first of many who made us feel so welcome and inclusive along with Lolitta. Also a special thank you to Sandhya for all the communications before we arrived. Then our lovely Lilly who was our co-ordinator for the renewal of vows ceremony we had booked for our anniversary. Every thing was arranged for us taking any hassle away from us. She was assisted by Kasey who kindly held the phone so our daughter could watch the event live. Thank you Yani for playing our tunes throughout. We had local blooms for the flower arrangements and bouquet which were amazing. Everybody went out of their way to make the day special. The hotel is top class. Our room was spacious and clean. Decorated several times with petals for our special occasions. One also being a big birthday celebrated during our stay. Your comfort and enjoyment was all they thought about. Tulsi, Navina Ashika and Jonathon sorting out our drinks in the Stay bar and Yodish for keeping us hydrated around the pool. The restaurant teams were excellent and a shout out to Karishma. The food in all restaurants was top notch varied and cooked to perfection. The grounds were lovely and well maintained. It really is all about the people who make it their soul purpose to look after you and I apologise to all I haven’t mentioned personally but you were all great!! The only problem is if you are not a good on your feet plenty of steps but the hotel is stunning and just what you need if you are on honeymoon or celebrating something

Fantastic experience in paradise cove boutique hotel, excellent location & facilities. Food in all restaurants is top class & service to match. All the staff are friendly & helpful. Our room was just metres from the beach and very well appointed.
