ust returned from 10 days in paradise. The hotel is in a quiet area on the north-west coast, perfect for sunsets ! From the moment you arrive there is a feeling of warmth, respect, professionalism and wonderful customer service. The hotel is beautiful in design, the grounds are immaculate and the rooms are modern, well equipped and beautifully clean ( our room was cared for by Kaajal who was lovely ). The beach is perfect for snorkelling with plenty of areas for sunbathing, there are also lots of sunbeds and beach umbrellas. The restaurants ( there are 5 ) offer a good range of local and international cuisines. For breakfast there are two choices , Seasons which is buffet style and has everything you could wish for , and our particular favourite for breakfast, the Beach Grill with Mefoouzaa who is a credit to the hotel - she is an absolute delight. For dinner, there is again the buffet style Seasons which has excellent themed nights and the three specialist restaurants Mystique ( Pan Asian which is top class ) Fusion which is Japanese and an Indian restaurant called Kangan. What makes this hotel so special are the staff. The superb general manager Jameel has assembled a team of people who excel in their particular areas which differentiates this hotel from others. Unfortunately I am unable to name all the wonderful people who work, but here are a few and apologies for all those I have failed to mention ( Kaamuel, Arshan,Vakash, Arshan, and Roshan ). These people have excellent teams or are part of a team who excel in customer service, going above and beyond to offer their guests the ultimate holiday experience. This is a hotel you will want to return to again and again. Well done to EVERYONE at the Westin Hotel, Turtle Bay Mauritius - you are all amazing !! Chris Southworth Read less

Excellent picturesque beach side stay for 8 nights in October 2024 . 2 adults 4 children in 2 adjoining rooms kindly organised by manager ravi as we were initially on separate floors. Greeting by Yasiin who kindly transferred put bags by buggy to.the room which was overlooking the adults pool.and beach convenient for that side of the hotel. Yasiin also picked us up whenever he saw us if we needed to get to reception, breakfast or dinner. Yogesh and Varousha in housekeeping were attentative friendly responsive and thorough. Beautiful.grpunds for a quieter more intimate stay then other busier hotels. Could always access sunloungers and the kids pool was just the right size with surrounding amenities. Foodin all the restaurants is excellent. Recommend booking all 3 themed restaurants as well as the buffet. Evening chilled out entertainment including a magician and band. Beach activities (kayak, pedal boat) easy to organise and we also did beach horse riding which was memorable. Kids club was good more relaxed activities like table tennis, pool, craft activities available and small football games. The staff there and in the whole hotel are lovely. Thank you for a memorable stay at westin turtle bay mauritius. Read less

Unfortunately those expectations were not met so after speaking to the hotel, they couldn’t do enough for us and went above and beyond in providing the stay we had wanted and expected. 5 stars all round for their listening and customer service. We were well and truly spoilt and have come away relaxed and with great memories. Thank you to everyone we have spoken to in terms of management, waiting staff, bar staff, cleaners etc. It is you that makes our experience here special ❤️ Read less

recently stayed at this hotel with family, hotel service is not as per 5 star standard and the food is very ok with limited menu , buying half board and full board doesn't make sense as they charge u extra for thier dishes and water too which was shocking , not all staff are very cooperative ,
