At the tip of the Palm Island, next door to Atlantis, The Palm. The resort is just a 25-minute drive from the centre of Dubai and a 15-minute drive to Dubai Marina. There is also a monorail to the mainland. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 45 minutes.

I also want to give a special mention to Valencia Naude (I’ve been meaning to write this review for ages!) from the Royal Club Sea Lounge. Her customer service was the best I’ve experienced in Dubai. She made us feel completely comfortable and at ease in the lounge, going above and beyond when she didn’t need to. If I were her boss, I’d be thinking about a promotion—staff like Valencia are rare and invaluable, and when you find them, you should hold on to them!

The best hotel in the world

Very much a repeat visitor this hotel sets the bar. We stayed in the sky pool villa Palm facing and it’s like a dream. But on top of the great amenities is really the service. Unrivaled globally. Huge shout out to Kyle who is the best and makes it special every time
