We stay here time and time again as the service and quality is consistent and perfect. This time around our house keeping and turn down service was done by Mazhar who made our experience and visit perfect, especially travelling with two children. He was attentive and great at provide a high level of service which compliments Weston

Just returned from an 8 night stay at the Westin with our two little kids (aged 2.5 and 5 months) on an all inclusive basis and had the most amazing visit. The staff everywhere in the hotel were absolutely fantastic in making sure that we had everything we needed and were very attentive at all times. In particular, Sagor who looked after our room did a fantastic job making sure we always returned to a spotless room and put towel animals out on the bed and little toys for the kids which kept them entertained. We liked all the restaurants - the selection at Mina's Kitchen was always impressive and we enjoyed the food at Sui Mui where were looked after by Adarsh who kept the drinks flowing for us! Only slight frustration was that a couple of the restaurants have minimum ages so we couldn't get into them with the kids (though I do understand not everyone wants to be surrounded by the randomness of how small kids can behave when out for dinner!) Hotel is a really great size for smaller children as it's easy to navigate and not overwhelmingly massive when you leave something in your room (which is inevitable with the little ones!) The big attraction for us was the all inclusive option given we never quite know what or when our daughter will want to eat, so having the flexibility around that, and avoiding the bill shock you can get in other Dubai hotels was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the waterpark, which again is geared towards younger families than say the ones at the JBH or Atlantis, which was perfect for us. Currently trying to book to go back next year as it absolutely hits the spot and made for the perfect holiday for us. Read less

We have been travelling to Dubai now for over 30 years, way before the Westin, the palm and the Marina were even built. For the past 6 years or so I have been staying at the Westin, which we have always found to be very welcoming and a happy luxurious resort. The rooms are all very well appointed, all the amenities you could want, free bottled water is plentiful in the room. The bed is extremely comfortable and there is loads of space. The bathrooms are also well appointed with large tubs and walk in rain shower. Ample towels and toiletries which are changed and topped up daily. The sea view rooms however are now not so much “Sea View” with the addition of the new Harbour Tower Blocks facing you, yes you can still see the sea and the pools below, but I no longer consider these to be worth paying the extra for, I think the Hotel needs to rethink that.!! We stayed on a half board basis, normally we pay extra for the executive club, but this year the cost was ridiculously expensive, but on arrival were upgraded to club facilities as a loyalty gesture, which we were grateful for. To our surprise on our first morning, after an early breakfast we walked to the beach to find that all the sun beds had been reserved, with little blocks of wood on each. We have never experienced this before and took a couple of beds on the grass. We were pretty cross to notice that these had still not been taken by midday, when we enquired with the beach guy, he told us the Russians were reserving the beds and not turning up. The following morning we simply moved the reserved signs off the two sun beds we wanted, no one turned up all day to claim them. The beach however was littered with cigarette butts, as in previous years small pots were provided for the smokers. On that point if you are a non smoker like ourselves remember all restaurants not just at the Westin, allow smoking inside, including vapes. Maybe the management at the Westin could become the First Hotel in Dubai to ban smoking in restaurants. Such an anti social habit nowadays. Overall we had a really enjoyable time at the Westin, the food in the various restaurants was superb as were all the staff, however I felt with the 3 Hotels, the Westin, The Le Meridian and now the W all squeezed in the beach is becoming very crammed, more Benidorm than Dubai. An enjoyable stay never the less. Read less
