we had dinner in the gionotte restaurant and were brilliantly looked after by Jatin. the food was excellent as was the service - great time - the italian buffet was superb and great value for money - eat all you like and the ambiance was fantastic

The food is absolutely delicious, one of the best Lebanese food we had. The service is amazing, especially Saber was of great help. We also loved the setting, very romantic, with life music and amazing lighting. One day we also took our 2 years old son and it was perfect, food was fast and they were very attentive. They even have a kids menu.

A great second visit to this lovely hotel. It was quiet at the start of October but we really enjoyed relaxing at the adult pool which we had to ourselves most days. Renovated basic entry level room was very nice and we enjoyed the balcony with new furniture too. The grounds of the hotel were absolutely immaculate. Food options are what have caused a 4 star instead of 5 as we were very disappointed that the Venetian Village wasn’t operating anymore. The Punjab Grill has relocated into the main hotel grounds and we were really looking forward to going there having had fabulous food and service there on our first visit. Unfortunately the Punjab Grill was not allowed to open due to a licensing issue which was a huge shame and we kept asking them if they were opening without success. We were however so impressed by all the staff at Mijana (in particular Adil who was absolutely charming and funny) and The Forge with Beverly and all her colleagues who were fun to chat to and were so good at their jobs too. They realised we were from Scotland and really enjoyed chatting with us. We were sad to say goodbye to Beverly in particular and there were hugs when we left - she is totally professional and definitely one to watch as she will go far in hospitality.
