Where is it

On Yas Island, overlooking the Yas Marina & Yacht Club and positioned on the Yas Marina Circuit, home of the Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Just 5 mins drive from Yas Mall, Yas Waterworld and Ferrari World. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 1 hour 30 minutes; Abu Dhabi Airport: 10 minutes.

Hotel information

499 rooms and suites. All with private balcony, air-conditioning, floor-to-ceiling windows, mood lighting, WiFi access, 49" LED TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini fridge, W Signature Bed, oversized wet room with separate bath tub and shower, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, iron and ironing board, and the W MixBar. All rooms and suites have either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Wonderful Rooms offer views of the Yas Marina. 

Half Board option: includes breakast at Garage and a set menu lunch or dinner at Angar, Amici or Garage.

Half Board plus option: includes breakast at Garage and a set menu lunch or dinner at Angar, Amici or Garage. Two alcoholic (beer or house wine) or non-alcoholic house beverages per adult, per meal.  

Full Board with Free Flow option: available to arrivals between 2 Jan - 30 Dec '23. Includes breakfast and a set menu for lunch and dinner at Garage restaurant only. Free flow of selected alcoholic house beverages and non alcoholic beverage served at Garage and Wet deck (pool bar). Drinks service starts from 2:00pm until 10:00pm (21+ years of age). A beverage list will be provided at the restaurants.

Marvelous Rooms offer marina views from a balcony with full glass panels.

The hotel is more than wonderful and elegant and deserves five stars. I actually visited it with my family and I thank Kids Zone, especially Shakys who works there, who has a good heart and wonderful treatment of my children.................

The gym at the W Hotel is exceptional, equipped with modern machines and a pristine environment. The service from Hamza and Fred was outstanding, always attentive and detail-oriented. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a top-notch fitness experience.

We had a lovely time at the Garage enjoying the taste the race menu. There was lots of choice, great portions, delicious food and very well priced. Purna was really attentive, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

The lobby is awesome and looks elegant , Aly checked us in and was very friendly and supportive while explaining how to make the most out of our stay. The view in the room was as amazing and the parks were nice too .. thank you W abu dhabi and thank you Aly .. will come back again

A wonderful 4 night stay. The team here genuinely can’t do enough for you. Our housekeeping team Alan and Anandan kept our room spotlessly clean and well stocked. They cater for all nationalities with a huge fruit/ yogurt room, Indian, Chinese, bakery, juice station, meats & cheeses and the usual cooked items. Made to order eggs. We had cocktails given to us one morning from our lovely waiter. I didn’t take note of his name unfortunately but he got a picture with us. Genuinely one of the best breakfast experiences. We visited in July so was very hot. We spent our evenings on the roof wet deck and got looked after by the team straight away. They even remembered us and what we ordered. Thank you to Sayan, Roshan, Eric, Nayaz and Baba. On our final night they made us some lovely cocktails as a surprise. A nice end to a great stay. It’s worth noting on a Tuesday evening you can cycle around the track for free! This was a great experience and something very unique. Go karts are also available at an additional charge. What a thing to say you have raced on the Yas circuit! Yas island has a free shuttle service to the mall and theme parks and we used this daily. W is on most routes so we didn’t have to wait long. In the heat you can’t walk anywhere so this is a great service with free water at all shuttle stops. Our final night we ordered room service. This was excellent and good value for money too. Overall a fabulous hotel with really hard working happy team. We will be back. Read less
