The hotel

JA Ocean View Hotel Jumeirah Beach proudly overlooks the Arabian Gulf with stunning views over Blue Water Island and Palm Jumeirah. Each guest room is furnished to the highest standard and gorgeous sea views and balconies. Head outdoors to the infinity swimming pool to cool off or laze beside in oversized loungers. There’s a separate kids' pool with shade cover so children can play to their hearts content too. JA Ocean View Hotel is located on "The Walk”, Dubai’s outdoor shopping mile with restaurants, cafés and shops in the Dubai Marina, as well as being steps from a gorgeous stretch of public beach. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 30 minutes.

346 rooms and suites (153 interconnecting) on 25 floors. All with air-conditioning, sea views, balcony, satellite TV with pay-per-view movies, telephone, WiFi access, mini-bar*, tea/coffee maker, safe, hairdryer and iron and board. Sea View Rooms are located on floors 5-14 and offer views over the Arabian Gulf and The Palm Jumeirah, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a rollaway bed on request, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.



Half Board option: Half board is defined as breakfast and lunch or dinner. The meal includes a buffet or 1 starter, 1 main course and 1 dessert per person and applicable children’s menu in the all day dining outlet. No beverages are included. Half Board is available in the following restaurants: Le Rivage (breakfast and dinner) and Lvl Blu (lunch only).

Superior Sea View Rooms are located on higher floors, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Club Sea View Rooms are located on floors 21-25, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Junior Suite Sea View Rooms are more spacious with a living area, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a rollaway bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Family One Bedroom Suites are a special family room with a living area, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies, with 1 king-size bed or twin beds and a rollaway bed, sleeping maximum adults or 2 adults and 2 children plus 1 infant.

Coral Lounge: situated on the 24th floor with views over The Gulf, offering the following complimentary benefits to guests staying in Club Sea View Rooms, Junior Suite Sea View Rooms and One Bedroom Suites:

  • Breakfast service daily from 6:30am–11:00am in the lounge or in the all-day dining restaurant Le Rivage
  • Afternoon snacks from 3:00pm–5:00pm
  • Evening hot and cold canapés with selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic house beverages during happy hour from 5:00pm-7:00pm
  • Coral Bar within Club Lounge will operate until 7:00pm, with last order at 06:30pm. All alcoholic orders outside of happy hour timings will be charged separately upon consumption

Arrived at 3am to a lovely welcome and given our rooms keys for the 10th floor. On entering the room there was a Birthday cake for myself which was a lovely surprise . 1st impressions was lovely big room, plenty of storage space, good lighting, comfy sofa and a big bed. Room was very clean and bathroom was fine. Nice balcony with a lovely view over the beach and out to the palm. Had no issues other than our room keys kept deactivating so not sure if this was the heat but reception soon sorted. We were just on a B&B stay but did have lunch in the new Greek restaurant by the pool which was lovely and very good prices. The breakfast was plenty, order you eggs at the table and then go and help yourself to the buffet. Plenty of fresh fruit and pastries 🥐 too. The location is perfect, 3 min walk to the beach. There is a convenient store at the end of the road (towards marina) which we used daily for drinks, snacks. The Tram stop is a couple of minutes walk away, we used this to get to the palm and the Metro stations as quicker than walking and very cheap. The DMCC metro stop is about 15 mins walk away but used the tram to get there. The hotel is right at the start of the walk so plenty of places to eat and shops to look around on the evenings. As others have said the pool is shaded but it’s nice to have a swim after a busy day seeing the sights. The beach bag is great, just collect this from the pool and the towels are very big so perfect for the beach and you can have an umbrella if needed and drop back off on your way back to your room. Taxis are outside but make sure you use the cream with coloured roof ones, there are normally parked up just to the right of the hotel. You will get other asking if you want taxi but there are the ones which are not metered so you can be over charged so be careful. IT îs a very good hotel The cleaning was very good, Ram Ishara was amazing ,he was în charge With cleaning our room Thank you for the surprise, my husband really enjoyed his birthday With you! The hotel is located near the beach, a lot of restaurants and coffee shops around!

I had booked 2 family rooms as we had 2 toddlers in our group also and one night I asked the hotel reception if I could borrow a plate & spoon to give dinner to one of the toddlers as he was ill, to my shock the staff at reception asked for AED20 to rent out a plate & spoon. For a so called 4-5* hotel on JBR this is not what I was expecting. I had previously stayed in Atlantis and Jumeirah Beach Hotel and I knew this hotel was far from that but I still wasn't expecting to rent a plate and a spoon to feed a child. Other than that a big well done to Tushara at valet parking and Zain in the house keeping team. These 2 guys always went above and beyond with their hospitality. Read less

Great location, this was the second time I have visited now. Th staff are excellent, breakfast is great and Offside bar is good for a drink and for watching anything sports related, there is also a Padel court there. Special mention to Rupa and to Nelson for their great service on the 5th floor.
