It’s the personal touch! Just arrived at The Vintage Brunch Shown to our favourite table Personalised cocktails made which is just an incredible touch - thank you Rohit One thing to change - please bring back the one butler per villa, that’s what makes Dar Al Masyaf so different.

We have been returning here for many years now and we are never disappointed. This resort is the jewel in the crown within the Jumeirah group . The rooms are spacious and secluded with luxury interior design . The beds and pillows are like big marshmallows allowing a wonderful sleep. Housekeeping do a fantastic job cleaning your villa twice a day . Butlers are attentive and are quick to answer any questions and organise dinner reservations and transport. Big shout out to Gayan the duty manager , he goes beyond our expectations and delivers a truly wonderful customer experience . Nothing is too much bother for him and he goes the extra mile to anticipate what we like so we don’t even need to ask . Well done Gayan ! You are truly remarkable and an asset to the Jumeirah Group and you made our holiday amazing. Many thanks to you and your team . We stayed on the half board package and the food was excellent . Our favourite restaurant was the French Rivera, we liked the full service they supplied at breakfast. The staff are amazing from the moment you walk through the door, the hostess will seat you and make you feel most welcome and then the waiting staff remember what you like to eat and drink , such a nice little touch . Delore our waiter was amazing as always , he went out of his way to spoil my granddaughter with a welcome back cake and a Bon voyage cake, she loved it. All the staff here are very professional and they always greet you with a genuine smile. The chefs prepare and present amazing food cooked to perfection a 5 star experience . We also chose to eat dinner here on 3 occasions and the ambience of the restaurant in the evening is so lovely with perfect lighting and seating for a private dining experience with delicious food , well done to the whole team. The attention to detail in this resort is unbelievable, the grounds are immaculate , there is always someone cleaning something , the staff are very pleasant but not intrusive . The beach the choice of pools make every day different . This resort has it all and Dar Al Masyaf is our little piece of heaven . We can’t wait to return . Read less

The Jumeirah complex is huge with various different elements stretched along the beach just away from the palm. I think the Dar Al Masyaf was the nicest/ most opulent and also, although apparently full, felt spacious and relaxing. Further down the complex felt a bit more package holiday but that was a fair way away. This part of the complex has multiple “villas” which are stand alone buildings with suites in them in a square configuration around a central (lovely) courtyard. They set on a man made waterway and you can get around by walking, buggy or far more fun by an electric boat with a driver. Most of the huge complex can be reached by these boats but only the Dar Al Masyaf have these villas. The massive a beautiful rooms are also serviced by a butler who operates between a few villas. The pool is huge and lifeguards everywhere and the grounds are lovely with their own peacocks. The beach is great and although we did not use it, there is free entry to the water park. I have stayed in a fair few hotels but this really must be one of the best for service/ room and surrounding grounds. The waterside villas weren’t cheap but really great value. If I was going to go back to Dubai I would definitely stay here. Read less
