The hotel

Located opposite the iconic Palm Island Bay, this resort consists of three equally distinctive properties: The Palace, Arabian Court and the exclusive Residence & Spa. The Residence & Spa is an intimate sanctuary with its own private reception and dining room – choose between a guest room, a suite or a free-standing Beach Garden Villa. It’s also where you’ll find the Health and Beauty Institute – a veritable oasis of relaxation, treat yourself to a body wrap or hot stone massage, you deserve it!

Where is it

The resort overlooks the Arabian Gulf on Palm Island Bay, Jumeirah Beach. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 35 minutes.

Hotel information

437 elegant rooms and suites within the whole resort. Rooms also offer 40” full HD LCD TV, DVD player, WiFi access, vanity units and balcony/garden terrace. Residence Prestige Rooms are sea-facing and offer views over the gardens with 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Half board: breakfast at Olives or The Rotisserie. Evening dinner can be enjoyed on buffet dinner basis. This can be enjoyed at either Olive Restaurant, or The Rotisserie. Alternatively a set-menu can be enjoyed at Tagine, Beach Bar & Grill, Drift and EauZone. Guests on the Half Board will receive a 25% discount on the food bill on evening dinner at Celebrities and Tresind restaurants at One&Only Royal Mirage and also at sister property One&Only The Palm restaurants.

Residence Junior Suites are sea facing with 1 king-size bed that overlooks a living area with "Majilis" style seating, sleeping maximum 2 adults.Junior Suites can be connected with a Prestige Room giving a 2-bed suite.

Residence Executive Suites have a dining area, "Majilis" style seating and a separate bedroom, which is sea-facing and offers views over the gardens, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

The exclusive Residence Beach Garden Villa features two bedrooms each combined with a patio, lounge, adjourning dining area and kitchenette. Located steps away from the beach the villa also has a temperature-controlled swimming pool. Sleeps a maximum of 4 adults.

The Residence & Spa - The Dining Room menu serving the freshest ingredients (breakfast, lunch and dinner). 6 bars and lounges including The Jetty Lounge and The Roofop Lounge & Sport Lounge. Arabian Court - The Rotisserie buffet restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner), Tresind (progressive Indian cuisine, dinner only, open Mon-Sat), Eauzone, on the beach (à la carte lunch and dinner). The Palace - Olives (breakfast and dinner), Tagine (Moroccan influence, dinner only, open Tue-Sun, entertainment by Moroccan Duo), Celebrities (European à la carte and Tapas Menus, breakfast and dinner), The Beach Bar & Grill (seafood, steaks and salads dinner).

Great hotel - we were upgraded to a suite for my birthday and it was fab. The room was spacious and clean and well maintained. Pool areas excellent and service very good. Buffet food for breakfast/dinner not the best - limited choice compared to other similar hotels in Dubai. Otherwise a great stay!

Smooth check in personalised with an early check and welcome by Duty Manager who also at check out came to personally greet us. And special shout to John at Conceirge who was always helpful. Room was always well looked so a hugh thankyou to the Room staff. Highlight was the Rottiserie. Personal touch by Masa R, Dianna every time they were around made it pleasant. Chef Allahdin went above and beyond to cater for our Veg Meals which was one of the highlights with excellent dishes and Chef Kevin. Pool was always plesant and staff once again with eye to detail to ensure we were well attended. Tagine had a relaxing Ambience and Staff/Rasa likewise once again set the standards high with food presentation and descriped each dish we were having. Eau Zone excellent food though Table service compared to other areas of Hotel fell short. Look forward for next visit to they Palm property which looked amazing. Read less

Amazing staff, service, facilities and overall experience. Went above and beyond to make a birthday staycation memorable and accommodating. From the front desk, to the wait staff, to the spa to the restaurants (in particular Rotisserie team).
