Basically everything was really really good. I enjoyed my holidays a lot and all thanks to the hotel Rove La Mer Beach. The food, the service, the beach, the rooms - everything was excellent!
The only thing that really spoiled my LAST impression was the checkout and thats why I left it at BAD. Here is what happened:
I had half board. And it is very convenient that you can come for breakfast, and then either for lunch or dinner - as you prefer. So that is exactly what I did - I visited the restaurant twice a day without any worries. So on the last day, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon I was getting ready to leave for the airport. I also asked for the late checking out and it was approved at the reception. In the morning I had breakfast, visited the beach for the last time and packed my bags. And I expected that I would be able have a lunch just before leaving for the airport. As usual, I went to the restaurant, said my room number (it was 517) and started to collect food on my plates. A couple of minutes later they came up to me and said that I would need to pay for this meal. In complete confusion, I began to clarify why this was so, because I have the half board and this was my second meal of the day. To which I was told that the rules are such that on the last day you only have one meal. And I had already managed to put food on my plate. I was very surprised and went to sort things out at the reception. There they also told me the same information. When I asked why I was not told about this ANYWHERE IN ADVANCE, I was told that the information was in my voucher. I looked and did not find such information in my voucher from my tour operator. I was very upset, firstly, because I did not have time to eat properly because of all these proceedings and I still really had to give the last currency that I had for this meal. I absolutely do not understand where this stupid rule came from and I encountered this for the first time. I paid for the half board. Period. I had cases on other trips when I flew closer to the night and I could eat all day without any problems at the hotel. So this really darkened my very last impressions of the hotel and service, but it is not about the money, but the fact that no one wanted to meet me halfway and I was still forced to pay, and I did not have time to finish my meal, because the transfer to the airport came for me. I think you really didn't have to do this and the hotel certainly wouldn't have become poorer if you had allowed
