We have been staying here (with the exception of the pandemic years) for over 15 years. We have stayed in many other UAE hotels, but love the Grand Hyatt for its grandeur and location. Every time we check in, we receive a lovely welcome. The staff are professional and friendly. We received an anniversary update. There were fruit, flowers and a cake, which we thank the Grand Hyatt for. Our room was on the 16th floor and had been refurbished to a great standard. The beds are very comfortable, the bed linens luxurious and the bathrooms are opulent. The Smart TV is large with plenty of options. The staff are always very courteous; the facilities and food are first class and the place is always pristine. It is a pity that the tennis courts have been removed and the gardens are being updated to accommodate a water park, but I suppose the hotel has to update with the demands of its guests. We only hope that there will be quiet places for those who simply like to sunbath and have a dip in the pool to cool down. The Club access in the evenings is excellent, and works very well. The Collective restaurant, though busy at breakfast time is, by far, the best one for breakfast. Thank you to everyone for making our stay, as ever, very memorable. We will be back. Read less

Overall it was an excellent stay with courteous staff and clean atmosphere. The food was excellent. They clean the room every day and always they heck with me whether I need any additional services to clean in the evening. They replace the towels every day.

We wanted somewhere where you could lay out in stunning grounds in comfort for winter sun. The Grand Hyatt Dubai looked just the ticket; the photos on their website showed a number of pools, huge landscape gardens and sumptuous cushions on their sun beds. What more could you want? Well you will not got any of that. What they've ‘forgotten’ to tell you is they are converting the overwhelming majority of their grounds into a water park. One pool has been taken out, the most sunny areas are a construction site. The construction site is so big that the fencing comes right up to the remaining swimming pool. In many places you can't even get a sunbed between the fencing and the pool. Remember the luxurious cushions? If they are not going to bother to tell you that the gardens are a construction site they are not going to bother telling you that, looking on social media, the luxurious cushioned sun beds, so proudly displayed on their web site were replaced several years ago with cheap plastic ones. Complained but told that they refer to the water park on their website but nowhere on the web site or during the entire booking process did they tell me where the water park was going to be and that they had completely devastated the gardens I was hoping to lounge in. I won't say more. Just look at the photos and compare the hotels photos with the reality. Read less

I have been a loyal guest at this hotel for nearly four years. What sets it apart from others is the exceptional service provided by its friendly and professional staff, the warm, family-oriented atmosphere, and the comprehensive range of amenities that meet the expectations of any family staying at a luxury hotel.
