We stay in hotels a lot traveling for baseball tournaments. This hotel was the fastest we have ever been in for bringing up extra towels or linens. It was also extremely clean. Very busy since it shares space with the mall but a very good hotel experience.

we stayed for 14 nights at Boston Marriott Copley place in 2 batches - 9 nights and 5 night. This was our first visit to Boston and we booked this hotel on the basis of the rating on tripadvisor. It was mostly accurate. Hotel was overall, good. we took charles riverview room with 2 queen beds. room was large, we had 6 large suitcases and we were able to fit them on the large platform available below the TV. the room size was good and sufficient lighting. study table/platform was good enough for doing work. few unique things - there were many plug points and USB points including USB points for C type charger. this was excellent and hence eliminated the need to use the USA adaptor. the side tables were good. overall, room was very clean and so was the bathroom. Bathroom has shower cubicle and was very clean. i think, most USA hotels have stopped keeping room slippers and they have become on-demand product. same is with dental and shaving kits. havng said that, HK staff provided these things quickly. Hotel's front desk staff was very polite and service oriented. There was one restaurant Yard house, which offered excellent service. while food choices were limited esp for an Indian veg family but i think service compensated for that. large gym in the hotel which had many treamills, ellipitical and other machines. it was a very good and modern large gym. swimming pool was heated and good size one. i enjoyed the gym there and also saw some of the equipment which are normally not available in hotels. Overall, i would say an excellent hotel with very good locality. one can walk to any place from here. we also paid destination fees and got the benefit of their free trips of hop on-hop off and freedom park. would recommend this hotel anyday, for stay in Boston. Great stay, great location. Parking is ridiculous. Room tidy and serviced as needed. The USB outlets in our room gave off a high pitched squeak when nothing is plugged in. Took me a while to figure that one out. Bathroom is small, considering the size of the room. Staff all very friendly.

Stayed at the Boston Marriott Copley Place for an entire week, and had a great time. Had a corner room with lovely view of the Charles. Breakfast at the M Lounge however, was ordinary. Ashley at the Concierge was absolutely delightful! She gave us great advice on where to tour, and visit, & was just wonderful!

Ugly,depressing,could-be-anywhere style. No flavor or lifeforce to the place and an overall dead energy. Worst management you will find in a hotel from the top down. Ugly,depressing,could-be-anywhere style. No flavor or lifeforce to the place and an overall dead energy. Worst management you will find in a hotel from the top down. This staff reek of insincerity and artificiality . They get so much free money from government and corporate travel/meetings that there is no motivation to do anything , and this causes a $100 room to be $300 . There are hotels in Boston worth that price range but this is not one of them. The place looks like a low budget adult film with the staff as extras . Read less
