Location was perfect and the hotel is beautiful. However, the room we were in was TINY. Just be aware of this, the queen bed is not a European queen bed, it’s a small double. I was offered a larger room on check in for an extra 700 dollars. We already spent a considerable amount of money booking the room and were made to feel silly for not even… Read more

We stayed in a king room on the first floor for 2 nights. On the plus side the Oak Room is a good place for sitting at the bar and having a drink. The breakfast is very good too. And the staff were generally very polite and professional. But the hotel really feels in need of modernisation. The corridors are a bit dark and dingy as was our bedroom and bathroom. The walls are thin and we were kept awake by a baby crying for over an hour on both nights. Drunks were shouting and slamming doors in the corridor until 4am. This is not the hotel's fault but it really spoiled our stay, which wasn't cheap. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here unfortunately. Read less

We watched them change out the centerpiece from Marathon colors. We got to check in early which made our neighborhood exploration even easier. The rooms are rather spacious - much larger than I expected for an older hotel, an honestly larger than some newer hotel rooms. One appreciated amenity was an electric tea kettle to go along with the tea provided - much better than heating water through a coffee maker! I also appreciated that part of the “resort fee” turned into a $25 food/beverage credit which was definitely more of use than some other “extras” I’ve seen elsewhere. It was nice to be steps away from all we wanted to do and see. Read less

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great Lobby & Staff, Room Not Great

Lobby is beautiful. Staff is great. Access to the club level totally worth it. Special thanks to Kevin. The room itself was disappointing. It was small. There was no dresser. That is a lot of money to live out of a suitcase. Did enjoy watching the fireworks from the roof which was a perk of club level.
