Great service all around, especially from Mario! It was our 2nd time staying at Moxy Boston Downton and both we were greeted by friendly staff and were always nicely accomodated. My family and I had a blast! Clean rooms, nice city view, very well located, close to restaurants, parks and transportation.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Checked in on Monday night - check in was a breeze. They give you a free drink coupon and they give you coupons for $35 worth of food/drink for every night of your stay. That is pretty great value. I primarily used it for either breakfast or bottles of water. Service is very cheerful and friendly. Internet was good. My room was on the 21st floor. Fantastic views from my corner room. I had 180 degree views of the Boston skyline, the river and Boston Commons. Loved the view. The room is small but that is to be expected for Boston. Great location as well. Tons of restaurants in the area. Now for the cons - as a business traveler - I felt that this hotel is for the younger generation, fun, party vibe rather than a business traveler. No work desk in the room. No closet in the room, no coffee maker, moisturizer, etc. This may be a great hotel for someone on vacation but its tough for a business traveler. They do have great service, a great and friendly bar / food area and a party vibe. Read less

Check out was super smooth and Alyssa was very friendly and efficient. Room was clean, coffee was provided in the lobby (no need to mess with a machine in the room). Gym had a good variety of equipment including kettlebells but was tiny. Location was great especially for morning runs and Chinatown food

What an incredibly friendly staff and incredible location. Everything I needed, impeccably clean, plus Mortal Kombat and a $35 FB credit that covered breakfast + a delicious Greek salad every day. What an incredibly friendly staff and incredible location. Everything I needed, impeccably clean, plus Mortal Kombat and a $35 FB credit that covered breakfast + a delicious Greek salad every day. Can’t wait to come back — 2nd time staying at a Moxy property and highly recommend. I am 41, and I know initially the brand was marketed towards young adults, however it was great hearing guest in their 70s in the elevator explaining how cool they thought the property was including the stache closets and hanging tables to each other in the elevator. Way to go Moxy. Read less
