Nobody ever told me we would be charged over $150 just to self park. It was not stated when making the reservation nor was it explained when checking in. I got a surprise fee of $150+ and when I called they said it was on their website but it was not made clear. Doesn't make sense why it would not be included in the room fee as it is the only place to park and you use your room card to enter and exit parking lot. On top of that we also had an issue of getting locked out of our hotel room randomly because our door lock malfunctioned. I had to call the front desk twice and go down to the lobby before they got it fixed. It was about 10 hours between when I notified staff of the issue and when they finally fixed it. No apology or compensation was provided. Read less

Perfect location, in walking distance to historic sites, bars, bakeries & restaurants, Fisherman's Wharf and the aquarium. We had a standard room, which was large enough to have a huge king-size bed, two comfortable chairs and side table, bench seat and desk. The bed was very comfortable with several large pillows. The bathroom was large with soft towels. The whole end of our room was window and sliding glass door that opened to a balcony large enough to stand on. Other rooms had balconies large enough for chairs. We had a view of a courtyard and the bay. The pool and hot tub have plenty of lounge chairs and fluffy towels. Very friendly staff and super efficient check-in. I highly recommend this hotel if you have a room overlooking the bay or courtyards. Read less
