The hotel

If you’re after personalised service and ideal location for exploring, look no further. The recently renovated Anaheim Marriott sits within walking distance of Disneyland Resort California, although you can also hop on the shuttle bus back if you’re tired from walking around the park! Further afield you have Newport and Huntington beaches within easy reach, or head north on I-5 and you’ll be in Los Angeles in no time. However you spend your day, the heated outdoor pool will be a welcoming sight when you return, to kick back and relax and grab a drink from the bar. Dinner is an easy choice with fresh local ingredients served at nFuse before retiring to the bar where they have 24 taps of local microbrews.

Where is it

In Anaheim, less than a mile from the entrance to Disneyland Resort, and within walking distance to Anaheim Convention Centre. Newport Beach is around 20 miles away. Transfer time from Los Angeles International Airport: 50 minutes.

997 rooms and 33 suites across 19 floors. All rooms include air conditioning, WiFi*, coffee/tea-making service, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, safe, satellite TV, hairdryer, bathrobe and bathroom amenities. 

Standard Rooms have either 1 king-size, 2 double or 2 queen-size beds; sleeping maximum 4 adults.


Deluxe Larger guest rooms are spacious with a private balcony featuring city views. The room has 1 king-size bed and sleeps maximum 3 adults.

Balcony Pool View rooms overlook the resort style pool, with either 1 king-size, 2 double or 2 queen-size beds; sleeping maximum 4 adults. 


Self-parking $26 per day (payable locally, fee subject to change). The Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) shuttle stops outside the hotel ($6 per day, payable locally, subject to change).

Stayed in room 161 - a lovely king room with outdoor patio leading onto the pool area. Really nice toiletries included with even a deep sleep pillow spray. Hotel was easy 15-20 minute walk to the parks. I walked back on my own after 10pm, area is very safe. Would stay again.

Excellent, convenient hotel for visiting Anaheim, whether for business or pleasure. Good, comfortable rooms and fine service. The hotel is conveniently located close to multiple shops and restaurants and within walking distance of Disney Park. Overall, it is a typical high-quality Marriott hotel.

We have stayed here a couple of times the past few years, we love the proximity of it to the parks. Also as bonvoy members, we get access to the lounge which was a great space. We checked in monday afternoon, went to the parks and got back to the room around midnight. There was an incident in the room that took us a couple minutes to take care of, we let someone know on the bonvoy app message and they responded after a few minutes. We took photos as proof, the next day we stopped by the front desk to express the concern. Anthony and Jada assisted us, we showed them the photo and they quickly took care of the situation. They listened to us and was compassionate to the situation. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, but thankful for Anthony and Jada. Read less

As a Titanium Elite Member and Platinum for Life with Marriott, I’ve never experienced such disrespect from hotel staff. The front desk team on Sunday was unprofessional, rude, and completely lacking any basic customer service skills. I was so upset by their behavior that I chose to leave and stay at a different Marriott. I highly recommend replacing the entire Sunday staff with people who understand the value of treating guests properly. This was an unacceptable experience for any guest, let alone a loyal Marriott member. Stay elsewhere. Read less

This place is a scam. Do not stay there. I had booked this hotel for a trip to Disneyland back in January. The location is within walking distance to the parks and is a well known name so i decided to book it for 2 nights. The rate that I booked on their website specifically stated it included parking for each night. Upon arrival I found the the hotel was very nice, well kept up and clean. Staff were friendly at check in. If I were just basing this on the property itself I would give it 5 stars. But upon checking out they emailed me a receipt and I noticed I was charged for parking for 2 nights a total of $80. When I called and emailed asking for a refund I was told no that parking costs per night even though I sent them my reservation email stating on there that parking was included they still claimed i was wrong and they were right. After a week of back and forth they still refused to refund me and were very rude to me. I finally had to dispute the charges with my bank who was able To straighten or out for me after another month. I will never stay at this hotel again and have stopped staying at Marriott hotels in general now because of the poor customer service experience I had Read less
