The hotel

The Knott's Hotel has been completely renovated. It is conveniently located right next to the popular Knott’s Berry Farm® theme park in Buena Park, California. The hotel extends the fun of the park with its amenities, including a swimming pool featuring a children’s water splash zone, as well as a fitness centre. While Knott’s Berry Farm® theme park provides plenty of thrilling rides, dining, and entertainment, guests are also just a ten-minute drive away from the Disney® parks. A free shuttle service runs to the Disneyland® Resort, providing convenient access to additional attractions

First time at this hotel. It’s very nice inside. The rooms are okay with dated bathrooms. Shuttle service was great to Disneyland. Restaurant food was mediocre at best. It was really hot when we stayed and we looked forward to taking the kids to the pool, but it was being redone. This part was unacceptable unless they advertised it or provided a discount. Can’t say enough nice things about our time at the Knotts Hotel. We were weary as we were staying there on a Disney based vacation and didn’t know how well that would work but we were more than pleasantly surprised. Beautiful front entrance and lobby, extremely friendly staff! (Eddy still greeted me by name days after we checked in) We had a 2 and 5 year old with us and they loved the room and made it home for the 9 nights we stayed, rooms cleaned daily by friendly staff who organized my kids toys in cute ways, excellent pool facilities, we actually had a whole pool day because it was so nice, kids splash pad. Starbucks and beautiful restaurant (buffet was awesome, have the Denver eggs!) walking distance to soak city waterpark where we spent a day. 10-12 min drive to Disney straight shot. Walmart and plenty of restaurants nearby as well! And everything smells like berrys!! Thanks again for the great time Knotts hotel! We will return! Read less

Our first stay at the newly refurbished Knott's Hotel was great from beginning to end! After car trouble on the road, we arrived much later than expected - close to midnight. We were so pleased with our reception - easy parking, quick & friendly check-in process, plus they read the notes we left about a quiet room and were able to put us in a room at the end of the hall! Our room itself was clean, comfortable. spacious, and had everything we needed - mini-fridge, basic toiletries, QR code to easily access any information we might need. I was pleasantly surprised to find they offer room service. The two queen room had a loveseat, and easily accommodated our family - including a tween and teen boy. We also had a fun view of the park, where the kids enjoyed watching the Ghost Rider coaster run before we headed to the park. (Note: seems like they did keep original faucets/shower heads from before redesign, and there was not much shower pressure - something to keep in mind if this important to you, didn't bother us). The pool was large, clean, and a nice temperature with plenty of loungers. We were there with maybe 10 families while taking a break from the park, and there was plenty of space to sit and swim. My son had a great time in the sprayground, though he did say it the water was noticeably colder. Some parents had grabbed drinks at the bar and brought them out to enjoy poolside. We didn't eat the restaurant, but enjoyed grab-and-go breakfast each day at the coffee bar. The baristas were quick and kind, always willing to refill our water bottle with ice water. Plus, I'm not sure if this is just because I desperately needed caffeine but...they made me the best Americanos I've ever had! Overall, we highly recommend this hotel. It was such a great value if you can book one of their packages that includes park tickets (and sometimes other perks!) Quick shout out to the entire staff - everyone we encountered or even overheard talking with other guests was extremely hospitable. I especially appreciated that they were so kind to my kids. The park is right down the way and re-entry is super easy, so you can easily hit some rides, go back to the room and get some rest, and then head right back for more fun. The hotel itself was way beyond what we expected. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The front desk was super attentive and inviting. I would easily stay here even if I had no plans to go to Knotts Berry Farm. The pool area has an awesome splashpad area that my son loved, and the pool itself is decent sized. Plenty of clean comfortable seating for the parents too. Definitely will return without hesitation! Read less

This was such a lovely hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the facilities were perfection. We booked with a package including parking and park tickets. It was an easy walk to the park so when we were needing a break it was quick to return. We also ate breakfast at the restaurant. The food and service were good.
