Sheraton Park Hotel

Had a great 3 days in June. Awesome location for Disneyland, 15min stroll to front doors. Lots of places to eat locally but also a nice bar downstairs for that pre bed drink. Nice shop with Starbucks coffee, take away sandwiches and an awesome sausage and egg muffin cooked fresh. Beds were queens and very comfy. Service was great, very close to Orange outlet store also, 5min away. Nice outdoor pool and spa with pool bar. Happy to recommend. Read less

This was our first stay at the Sheraton, but it won’t be the last – this is definitely our favourite now! Location A quick ride from the airport. Easy to find the entrance and ample parking. Easy access to parking areas and we could see our motorcycle from our window. It’s an easy walk to Disneyland. Not having to take a shuttle or drive was a huge bonus for us. There is a 24/7 CVS just up the block and a Walgreens across the street from CVS. CVS had all Disney souvenirs at great prices, beverages (even a huge alcoholic variety) , food, snacks and anything you pretty much need. Walking distance to the Garden Walk mall that has an amc movie theatre, Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza, Bubba Gump Shrimp, PF Changs, and a mall catered towards a younger arcade and entertainment loving crowd. We also went for a ride along the coast to visit the beaches, all under 30 mins from here. Check out Balboa Island! We went to the Born Free Motorcycle Show, this is also a quick ride from here. The Hotel As a Bonvoy elite member we got a great upgrade to a room in the garden tower (not sure that’s the right name) and our balcony had full sights of the fire works. Outstanding! Everything felt brand new here, they did a revamp during Covid. The bathroom amenities were Warm Oak and are one of my favourite scents. We got 2 free bottles of water every day and the minifridge was big enough for those and more beverages. We didn’t use the coffee maker as we had lounge access but lots of supply there as well. Loved that this hotel had a laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers. Please note, it only takes credit cards, and the soap dispenser is out of order but you can buy some at the hotel store. We just brought a few detergent pods from home. The pool area is lovely, feels like you are in a tropical resort with the palm trees and pool bar. Lots of pool towels available and I always found a free lounger. I saw some reviews that said the thermostat couldn’t be changed but we had no issues adjusting the temperature, mode or simply turn it off. All good there during our stay. The hotel has a restaurant that has great food and during our stay a great all you can eat pizza dinner. They also have a store with a little food area that sells Starbucks, snacks and a few hot items. Bonvoy Elite Perks Very generous room upgrade in our case. As welcome amenity you can choose points or free restaurant breakfast. We chose the breakfast and could either pick the All American Breakfast or use their little buffet. That was good (loved the cheesy scrambled eggs) but it was the same every day and didn’t have too much variety. Loved that they had almond milk for my coffee. The lounge had free breakfast as well. During the day they had hot beverages, a soda dispenser, water bottles, chips, Reeses minis, and some other little snack. Evening appies were a bit sad, just deep-fried snacks that were usually done by 6 PM and not refilled. Staff From the first impression at arrival, the front desk staff, housekeeping and maintenance staff were all very kind and friendly! We booked a 1 night stay to combine a volleyball tournament at the convention center with a quick afternoon at Disneyland. Our expectations were not very high, so we were plesantly surprised. Our room was on the 11th floor and faced the parks so we had a nice view of the fireworks. The room was a bit small, but very clean and comfortable after a long day. They have a really great table/charging station in the room. As a Platinum Member we had access to the Club Lounge which serves breakfast and appetizers from 5-7pm. We were told that only 2 people are allowed access and. that I would need to pay for both of my children if they eat or drink anything at $10 per person. I had never been charged for my children at any property in all my years. Instead of the points as a welcome gift we opted for the breakfast buffet at SAVOY for 2 and had made to order omlets. The best feature was the location. A half mile to Disneyland and the Convention Center. All in all, it was a good stay and value. We will be back. Read less

FREEZING Rooms - NO Heat in any room nor buildings.... (Lobby was Warm) All Room Thermostats are LOCKED. This property does not allow you to warm up your room when you are cold. My 14 year old son and I found that out at 12 am when we noticed that the room wasn't getting warmer. The room's blankets were thin and no additional in the closet. My son was sick so we packed up and left @ 4 am because it was too cold to sleep there. We planned to sleep comfortably as we had in the past here. I went onto Yelp and saw we aren't the only customers experiencing this. Many people have complained about not being able to heat nor cool their rooms. However, the hotel Management Has Done NOTHING to Resolve it. I am a Bon Voy Member and if you are too, You Are Better Off @ The Marriot Convention Center down the street. After this experience, we will not be staying @ this Marriot Property EVER again.... Read less

I took the kids for a last minute Disneyland visit on a Saturday and decided to give the Sheraton Anaheim a try. I have always avoided it because the rating has been low, but this time they got a significantly low room rate compared to other properties, so I took a chance. I am glad I did! I got upgraded to an Executive Suite almost immediately after I booked the room. The room exceeded my expectations. It has two balconies, the living room is spacious. It also has two separate bathrooms. You also get a nice Disney firework view! It is steps from the Anaheim Convention Center. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Downtown Disney. Their club lounge is open 24/7 but only serves “food” during breakfast and happy hours. The food items are pretty limited. The hotel itself is a bit dated but the rooms got refreshed. The pool seems enjoyable too but I didn’t get to check it out. Parking is $37 overnight self park , $40 valet No resort fee 🙌 Thank you, Sheraton, for the accommodation and hospitality! Read less
