The hotel is amazing. Wanted a place close to Disney initially for our family of 8, never expected it to be so perfect. The staff, the service…. I can’t say enough positive things. They have rockstars working there. Cleaning, front desk, valet, and William in the concierge lounge is truly the better ever. Despite him loving the Trojans (kidding), he remembered our large family, always had a smile on his face and just a beam of light. Truly the rockstar of the rockstars. All it takes is one rude staff member to ruin a perfectly good trip and remind you that while the hotel looks great, the staff will ruin the experience and remind you it's a Westin. It's not four stars if the staff is one star. Granted, I'm Platinum Elite, I don't think they care. I'll gladly go into detail should the hotel want, but all I will say is that if you stay here - you're on your own. If you need anything beyond the norm (and I am talking about the most basic request), prepare to be greeted with attitude, disdain, and a total lack of respect. And honestly, I was leaving this hotel thinking I found a gem in the area - only to mark this as one to never return to. So beware when booking, nice rooms, rude staff. There's others in the area where you can get both great rooms and staff. Read less

We have a long history with the Disneyland resort and have enjoyed nearly every major hotel in the area. When the Westin opened three years ago we were amazed to have a hotel of that level and quality just across the street from the parks. We have stayed 72 times for 106 nights since the property opened and there simply is no better place to stay in Anaheim. The staff is top notch. Even the room service operators remember us. The current front office manager, Brian Oh, is always so accommodating. The park view rooms have spectacular views of the parks and most have floor to ceiling sliding doors that open all the way up. The Westin is the standard that all hotels in Anaheim should follow. Read less
