The Westin Anaheim Resort

Anaheim, Los Angeles

Virgin rating

The hotel

Ideal for exploring both Orange County and Anaheim, the Westin Anaheim provides a central location that is within easy reach of the areas biggest attractions. The most notable of those being Disneyland® Resort, which you won't be able to miss from the hotel. Grab a table at RISE Rooftop come the evening and enjoy the fireworks display with a little more space (and some great sharing plates and cocktails too!). Upgrade to a Park View and you'll be able to look out over those iconic rides and displays from your bed too - we think it's definitely worth it. The other standout thing about this hotel is the diverse range of dining on offer. From classic Californian fare to Mexican delicacies and poolside grills in between, whatever you're in the mood for, you'll be able to find it! With an outdoor pool and courtyard, this is your haven amongst a lively area, particulalry with those well known WESTIN Heavenly beds to enjoy at night.

We had an amazing time at the Westin. The hotel itself was very clean with friendly customer service. We also did the laundry service and it was very convenient. We spent some time in the hot tub and the pool area was very nice. The proximity to Disneyland was a bit far, walkable but we ended up using Uber for a quicker trip. Would definitely stay… Read more

From the moment I walked in, the service stood out—especially Cyrus at the front desk. He was beyond welcoming, with a genuine friendliness that instantly put me at ease. Not only was he professional, but he also took the time to chat and make sure every detail of my stay was just right. Whether it was confirming my Marriott Bonvoy Platinum benefits or ensuring my Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts perks were applied seamlessly, Cyrus made me feel like a VIP. His attentiveness and personable approach truly set the tone for my entire stay. Add that to the spacious, stylish rooms, with epic views of California adventure in Disneyland, this hotel is a fantastic option. I can’t recommend it enough—Cyrus and the team make it an experience to remember! Read less

I do not understand the glowing reviews here. My stay was shockingly bad. The good is the rooms especially the upgraded studio size are nicely sized, modern, and comfortable. But they are quite noisy, both street and hallway noise. The service was poor overall. A few employees were hospitable, but whether it was not fulfilling simple requests like bringing water, or making up the pullout bed, or worst of all disregarding the do not disturb sign while trying to nap. The valets didn’t offer waters despite having a fridge full of them. Oh and management was unavailable to discuss despite repeated attempts. The food was mixed. Room service was ok and the service there was a highlight. But the breakfast buffet was really bad and the eggs made one of us sick. As Marriott elites we were excited about a good non Disney option but the service and hospitality was so much worse than the Disney hotels and that’s not a particularly high bar. Also all the reviews saying it’s a 10 minute walk to Disneyland?! It’s 20-25 minutes to the gates at a very brisk pace. Fine if you’re doing one round trip a day but if you want to go back to the hotel to rest and return to the park the distance really adds up. Read less

Our visit to the Anaheim Westin was up there among the top 5 hotel experiences in my life. It is a beautiful, new hotel with spacious rooms - incredible bathroom. Used suite night awards to upgrade to an amazing suite with a view of CA Adventure. We were surprised and delighted with thoughtful welcome amenities from Sales Manager, Ashley Lee. Courteous and personable room service server Edgar is the BEST! This hotel strikes the right balance between proximity to Disneyland without the crowded and frenetic family atmosphere that you find at the Disneyland Resort hotels. Bravo Westin Anaheim for exceeding our expectations in so many ways! Read less
