The hotel

This classy airport hotel is less than a mile from LAX and with a 24-hour complimentary shuttle bus zipping around every half hour, you’re in no danger of missing your flight home! The great thing about LAX is that it is conveniently close to the sea, meaning you can nip down to Playa del Rey or even Venice Beach to enjoy the last few rays of California sunshine before you head back to the UK. The hotel has plenty of facilities to keep you amused too, with a health club featuring a swimming pool and 4 relaxing whirlpools to put you into a nice trance before that 11-hour flight back. Andiamo restaurant is a great option for some delicious Italian cuisine, or The Landings bar can mix your favourite cocktail.

The hotel is a quarter of a mile from Los Angeles airport complex on West Century Boulevard, within 5 miles of both SoFi Stadium and The Forum, and within 20 minutes of beaches and downtown Los Angeles. Transfer time from LAX International Airport: 5 min.

Rooms have either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds sleeping max 4 adults.

Complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle to and from the hotel running every 30 mins. Self-parking $49, valet parking £59, plus tax per night (payable locally, subject to change).

Stayed here for my layover. The room is good and comfy. Spacious and clean as well. Went for the breakfast buffet and the food is good and the people are great especially Raquel! Wish they had more food choices but overall, it was a great experience.

Always had pleasant memories of the Hilton LAX since my first stay back in ‘99. They’ve since renovated the hotel and I decided to come back as it was a better option than the Marriott properties in the area. On my recent stay, I managed to check-in via the app and opted for a room on the 15th floor but for some reason, they changed my check-in and gave me a room on the 10th floor. After getting through to someone via hotel app’s chat function, they moved me back to the 15th floor. Thank god they did that as I noticed the 10th floor seemed crowded and busy with lots of guests; the 15th floor seemed like a haven, in comparison. The room was clean and the shower had great water pressure, probably the best throughout my LA visit. Will return to this hotel on my next trip. Read less

Apart from the room offering a view of LAX runway, the food selections at all dining locations are extremely overpriced and the food at The Bistro was not good at all. The room's air conditioning was weak and the room emitted an unpleasant odor. The shower curtains also had an odor, raising concerns about the frequency of changing the liners.… Read more

The room's air conditioning was weak and the room emitted an unpleasant odor. The shower curtains also had an odor, raising concerns about the frequency of changing the liners. Additionally, I am 5’2” but the bathroom sink was unusually low as if it’s built for a kid, making it awkward to use, and there was a large crack on the floor by the sink. While the lobby is welcoming, the room urgently needs renovation. Read less
