It was not as expected. We read horror stories of the homeless issues and noise but we didn’t see it. We did see a few homeless but that’s life. Fairly safe to walk around just don’t walk the wrong way. The hotel staff were nice and pleasant, the room was nice and modern. The rooftop bar shut at 9pm so missed it. The actual pool bar staff had an exceptional service; if the rest of the staff had this level of service the experience overall would have been greatly enhanced. The level of service that we experienced was sub-par for the level of hotel the Andaz positions itself as. While the property is well maintained, service need to be improved. Read less

No hot water fire 3 days. Hotel manager guaranteed it would be on. Multiple times. Never came back on. Would have switched hotels but they guaranteed it would be back on by morning. Didn’t get to shower my whole trip

The room was small and cramped. Did not have the room I reserved six months earlier. The Roof top Restaurant and lounge were closed for a private party. I usually can count on Hyatt for great experience but not this time.
