Good location on Mission Bay, hotel has one restaurant which is on the pricey end but quite nice. Walking distance to Belmont Park and some tourist junk shops and small restaurants but not much else nearby. Would recommend a larger patio room with kitchenette which was perfect for our family of 4. I would not recommend a room that faces the public beach parking lot. Even though we could see fireworks from Sea World at night - which was cool - the parking area was always busy and loud (even during the week), and cars faced right up to the fenced back patio area. Room didn't smell clean, and whole resort feels like it needs a good scrub down. Evap cooler was only in the living area part of the room, so bedroom was warmer, and we had to keep air on very cool to try and get cool air flow to the bedroom. Parking at far end of the hotel where everyone seemed to be staying was a cluster. We stayed here so we could bring our dog, which was convenient. Overall, I prefer staying somewhere in the northern part of SD county which always seems cleaner and nicer to me. Read less

Pedro was awesome at providing games and entertainment for our family. Very good with the kiddos and knowledgeable of the resort. Kevin served us drinks. We would not have ordered anything but kevin convinced us it is all part of the experience.
