I love the location of the hotel, it's a couple of blocks from the nice restaurants and bars. The staff is so nice and helpful. The rooms are medium size, with a very clean restroom and a rack for hanging your clothes, there is also some coffee in the room. The decoration of the place is also pretty 😍.

I was fortunate enough to spend part of my birthday vacation at this hotel. I found a wonderful birthday card waiting for me in my room once I checked in. The staff was always kind and accommodating. I will definitely book at this hotel in the future.

Very clean and just a bit different to a basic hotel. Nice bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Enjoyed the pineapple cookies that they put out in the afternoon. Good value especially for where it is located. It can be a bit noisy as it’s in a lively area but enjoyed our stay here

Great hotel. Quirky, but new, clean and comfy. Good size room, with space. Bed is very high. Great selection of drinks/water/coffee in lounge area. Pineapple Cookies each afternoon. Gaslamp area is great for couples, and most things are 2 mins walk- a mile to the USS Midway. Ideal base for the city.

I’ll be honest when I got in the room on the face of it looked very impressive but as I remained in the room more about it became very annoying. 1) I looked into the “amenity fee” of $24.95 a night and this was not explained as an extra surcharge when checking in or whether it is optional. As I’m on business I don’t expect this having already paid. 2) the blinds simply do not shut properly, letting a lot of night in a lot of the night. 3) there was awful background noise from equipment somewhere in the hotel. 4) footsteps were constant and extremely loud above my room, sounded like stomping all night. 5) you could here music from somewhere consistently. Sorry I don’t complain much and I did address the loudness but they didn’t seem worried. Read less
