Image of the Tripadvisor rating Nice hotel as I would expect from a Holiday Inn

Nice hotel, up to the standards I would expect from a Holiday Inn. Comfortable clean rooms and very nice outdoor pool with balcony. Location seemed good, easy to get to most attractions in San Francisco. My criticisms of this hotel would be that there are a number of extra costs. Location seemed good, easy to get to most attractions in San Francisco. My criticisms of this hotel would be that there are a number of extra costs. Breakfast up to $38USD per person, Parking ~$50USD. I even got charged $3 for picking up a package that I had shipped to my room. That being said, there are not many hotels downtown SF that don't charge extra for parking and/or breakfast, so it is what it is. I would stay here again, just have to factor all the costs in. What a nice find! I was attending a concert at Davies Symphony Hall, which is an easy walk down to, but I took a bus back. The hotel is easy to access. Parking in a city is always a challenge, so I was fine with the price for parking. My room was clean and VERY comfortable. Right off of California and the cable car. How wonderful that Whole… Read more

How wonderful that Whole Foods is a block away for options for food from their hot bar to bring back to my room! The staff were attentive, and everything was accurate. Read less

Spent 2 nights, and our stay was absolutley worry free. Despite our flight was late, front desk was super helpful via phone and email, got a nice room on the 12th floor after a late checkin. Parking was also really comfortable, a little bit expensive to my taste, but we are in city center, I have to take it. Lots of free spots, close to elevators, moving luggage was easy as well. Location cant be better, just next to the cable car end station, you can hop on without fighting the crowd, also bus runs next to the hotel, that takes you downtown. We skipped the breakfast, as there are so many nice places nearby. Worth exploring. Also we used the washing machines, vending machine for the soap and dispenser. All works with card, so super convienent. The hotel is absolutley cashless, make sure you have your card working properly. Would stay here again if we are back again to SFO. Read less

Really like this hotel. We have stayed before, primarily for the location close to friends, BUT would chose even if not visiting them. Comfortable beds, quiet, GREAT location. Very nice friendly staff. We did not eat there, too many excellent places on Polk, but could be handy.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Hotel is about 45 minute walk from Pier 39. Check in was very quick. The room was clean, spacious & quiet. Bed was very comfortable king size. Outdoor pool & small gym on floor 6. Overall, I was very happy during stay & would recommend.
