Corner King Guest Rooms (located on the 18th to 25th floors) with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Grand View Guest Room (located on the 22nd to 26th floors) with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Great location, excellent service and amenities. Fantastic view to the Bay, GG Bridge and Alcatraz from our expansive room windows (got a corner suite) at a high level so views were spectacular! Would thoroughly recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!

I asked for a quiet room four times prior to my stay. I called three days before. I called the morning of my stay. I asked at check-in. I was first given a room on the odd-number side of the building - that has street noise (even though I was on the 15th floor). So, I went to the front desk, told them the problem, and then asked again for a quiet room. They then gave me a room on an odd-numbered floor. The odd-numbered floors have vending machines that can be heard up and down the hall and in the rooms. They really are that loud. I called the front desk and was told there were no other rooms available. So, I slept for two hours that night. And, although I asked for compensation for the room, only the parking charge was refunded (which had nothing to do with the qualify of the room). And, when I complained to corporate, they did nothing (keep this in mind when you read "Jonathan, Case Manager's" response). The front desk should know that the QUIET ROOMS are on the EVEN-NUMBERED FLOORS and in the EVEN-NUMBERED ROOMS. It's unimaginable that the front desk doesn't know this. More likely, they obviously do not take customers requests seriously and, as a result, I wound up paying for a room in which I was not able to sleep - despite my multiple efforts to avoid this. The staff was amazing. I felt welcomed and safe during my entire stay. The pillows were so comfortable. The concierge told us about the bus tours to Alcatraz. They offered dining right in the hotel as well. Fun activities are just a short Uber ride away. Definitely will return.

Don’t book this hotel through a 3rd party provider as I booked 2 rooms and both are next to the elevator. Noisy as hell and as such we won’t be back. The Front desk staff were no help at all in trying to resolve our issue. I’m certain if we had booked direct with the hotel we would not have such a crappy room.
