The hotel

Where is it

In the heart of Downtown New Orleans, a 20-min walk to the French Quarter and all major attractions, including the Superdome, Smoothie King Center and Champions Square. The Loyola Avenue Streetcar passes directly in front of the hotel or take a walk to the Arts District, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and, of course, the lovely Mississippi Riverfront.

Very friendly & responsive staff. Clean rooms & great amenities. Enjoyed our stay here for the Essence Festival. Requested adjourning rooms & the staff made it happen. Thanks!

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. This was our second time there and the place is huge and beautiful. We have not problems with this hotel.

Hyatt Regency New Orleans was very nice hotel in a great location. Staff at the front desk was pleasant, check-in was smooth. The elevator security staff was very helpful. I stayed at this hotel for the Essence Festival. This was my first time staying at this location. The hotel is in close proximity to the Convention Center, Restaurants and the Superdome. We were able to walk everywhere. Clean, well managed!! Awesome experience.

The food has definitely improved from 2023. The breakfast buffet was 1/2 the price in 2023. It was $50 per person but can changed to approximately $25 per person. I do not like the destination fee that the hotel charges, but they give you 2 complimentary drinks.
