The hotel

Part of the Outrigger family, this is a premier hotel with well-equipped, spacious guest rooms ensuring a comfortable holiday base. The location is fantastic too, directly overlooking beautiful Waikiki Beach and just a stone's throw from shops, bars and restaurants. Even people who aren't staying here tend to wander into the lobby as it's filled with rare and historic Hawaiian artefacts, including a century-old koa canoe! The Hula Grill Waikiki is another local attraction, serving scrumptious breakfasts and romantic dinners beside the ocean. Duke's Waikiki is also right on the beach and perfect for an evening meal, complete with regular live music and hula performances. The swimming pool is beachside so you can enjoy the views of the sparkling blue waters, wherever you choose to set up camp for the day.

524 rooms on 17 floors with 4 lifts. All with private balcony, air-conditioning, sofa and seating area, cable TV, WiFi access, telephone, tea/coffee maker, mini-fridge, safe, iron and ironing board, and hairdryer. 

City View Rooms offer views of the Waikiki skyline and mountains, with either 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, 1 double bed, or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Partial Ocean View rooms have either 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Ocean View rooms have either 1 king-size bed, or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Ocean Front Rooms offer 1 king-size bed, or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Ocean Front Jacuzzi rooms feature 1 king-size bed, plus an indoor jacuzzi bath tub, sleeping maximum 2 people.

All of the above room types can be booked with the addition of Club level benefits, which includes exclusive access to the Premium Voyager 47 Club Lounge, offering complimentary breakfast, as well as evening appetizers and drinks. 

Pai's Deli (serving sandwiches, salads, and snacks, open 9.00am-5.00pm daily). The Sunrise Shack (serving coffee, smoothies, salads, sandwiches and other fresh items throughout the day). Hula Grill Waikiki (island-style cuisine, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as brunch at the weekends). Duke's Waikiki (Island-style seafood and steaks, open for all day dining, with regular live music).

Well, The Outrigger did it again, as always they make you feel sad when you have to leave. Well, The Outrigger did it again, as always they make you feel sad when you have to leave. From the minute you ride the escalator up to the lobby for the check-in, you are greeted with smiles & a personal Hello from everyone. They call you by your first name & make sure that anything & everything you could want or need is taken care of. Steve, Victoria, Mae, Mikala, Ricky & everyone at the front desk make you feel like you are there most important guest right from the start! Anchalee, Skip, Troy, Eric, Barry, & Jiro to name just a few, & everyone else at the Bell desk are great people & go out of their way to accommodate your every need while at the Hotel! & Last, but not least, by a long shot, you have Gigi at the Voyager 47 club! She is wonderful, always has a happy smile for you when you walk in, & very friendly & easy to talk to! It’s what customer service should be everywhere? It just seems to come naturally to her. Very nice property but yes some wear and tear with the furniture and carpeting-will be excited to see it after renovations. Our room was large and the bed comfortable. My husband I travelled here to the Outrigger Waikiki Beach resort from California for our second time. This time we were celebrating our anniversary and our baby girl on the way. I was very nervous about traveling and being exposed to the sun on the beach. Thankfully Aqualani Beach Rentals made things so accommodating and comfortable with their beach lounge chairs and umbrella rentals. We rented with Aqualani 6 out of the 7 days we were on the Island. Carlos was so welcoming and helpful with getting our chairs and umbrella set up front row on the beach and moving our chairs in such a way that we were in the perfect amount of shade. Ryan was also very helpful and outgoing during our visit with setting up our chairs and umbrella and getting to know us. Thank you Carlos and Ryan for all your help and hospitality on the Outrigger Beach. Read less
