The hotel

What a unique place! The lifts ascend diagonally up the pyramid wall and the beam of light that shines from the top can be seen from 10 miles up in space. Vegas gets hotter than Egypt in the summer, so you’ll appreciate the 5-acre pool area with 4 pools, as well as a new adult VIP pool* section. Check out the hotel's dining options too — there's Diablos Cantina, Tender Steakhouse, Backstage Deli, Pyramid Café, Public House, and The Buffet at Luxor. In the sumptuous Nurture Spa, you can enjoy treatments like botanical body buffs, Swedish massages and refresher facials. Blue Man Group is comedy, theatre, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. You'll be closer to the action than ever before at the specially designed Blue Man Theatre at Luxor Hotel and Casino. It's an outrageous multi-sensory experience you'll never forget.

Rooms are just ok. Staff is not friendly. Harassed by sales people everywhere you walk. No water in rooms. No refrigerator in rooms. Staff acted like you were bothering them if you asked a question. No one was really friendly. The hotel is old and dated.

Unique hotel and good value. It is close to where the Hacienda used to be located at the end of the Las Vegas strip and I have good memories from my only other visit to Las Vegas in 1979 when I was 24 years old. I have also travelled to Egypt and been inside the Great Pyramid at Giza but on this visit I got to sleep inside the Luxor pyramid.

The rooms were spacious, clean and in good condition. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have stayed at the Luxor 3 times and have always enjoyed it. Me and my girlfriend would recommend the Titanic exhibit and the body's exhibit. They are really cool and you can learn a lot!

The on-site food is ok, as you'd expect, not your healthy fair. 2 Starbucks on site. Rooms in the tower are definitely newer, nicer, the pyramid rooms are older as expected and in need of some repairs (our shower got clogged with each shower and water pooled, ceiling was peeling). Staff was great wherever we encountered. There is also an Uber/Lyft spot for pickup. The Deuce (public transit $8 for 24 hrs) is a great option to go up and down the strip. Read less

This was a great 10 day hotel stay and would highly recommend the Luxor. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet with a great view. Tram was convenient to get around, but a stop at the Luxor each way would be nice instead of each tram going directly to Mandalay Bay each time from the Excalibur. Really enjoyed our evening with Carrot Top.
