The hotel

It's all about the location at this large ‘Disney Good Neighbour’ hotel. It's just a 10-15 minute stroll from Disneyland Resort and Downtown Disney. If you want to save your energy though you can jump on the shuttle that picks up and drops off right outside the hotel. But before you go, stop at the Disney® Desk, where cast members can give you some insider tips. Fancy a day off from the parks? There’s an adults-only indoor pool and hot tub, plus an outdoor family pool and a water play area. Win-win. And after dinner you why not head to Mix Lounge, set in the lively atrium lobby, for a signature cocktail or glass of something from the extensive wine list.

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Disneyland is the place to be with kids, and adults alike. Not a big park and you can see everything in a day. Wear hats.

This was a nice although loud hotel. I stayed during a Vid Convention. Lots of people. This hotel is walking distance to Disneyland. We took a uber too hot to walk there. The room was comfortable, and quiet near the room. Family oriented place.

We have stayed at the Hilton Anaheim several times since we like to go to Disney and we have relatives in Tustin. We just stayed there over the 4th of July and our room was SAD. The door looked like it had been broken into; the bathroom mirror frame and sink base were peeled paint; and parts of the walls were dented like someone throws things in there and were patched over. Really, the whole 12th floor looks tired. On the positive side, the guest laundry room was spic and span and very convenient. And, housekeeping cleaned our SAD room thoroughly each day. Read less

Checked in and paid $25 early check in fee. Was given an 'upgrade' to corner suite. We dropped our bags, noticed it was warm and turned the AC up and went out for a couple hours and came back to our room as hot as a sauna. The temp read 92 degrees. The air conditioner was blowing hot air. Fiddled with different settings, nothing worked. Went to… Read more
Checked in and paid $25 early check in fee. Went to call the front desk and our phone had no dial tone. Tried to call using main phone number but could only reach central reservations. Then realized we had a number we could text. This was apparently to get a 'speedy' reply to anything we needed. A few minutes later we received a text saying that it was because we had large windows and we should change rooms. I went down to the front desk and was told they would send maintenance up. It was so hot that I actually took a chair into the hallway to sit while I waited. The maintenance man was extremely nice and told me that we should switch rooms. This is an ongoing and KNOWN problem and that the windows heat up to 120! Why on earth were we 'upgraded' to a room with a known problem? We then waited about 30 minutes for new keys and were given a regular room. The AC was cooler in there, but not as cold as one usually gets in a hotel. We proceeded on with our stay. The 2nd night we came back to our room and as soon as we walked in we were hit with a horrible smell of weed and cigarettes. You could not smell this in the hall at all, which meant it was coming through the vents. At 8:14pm we texted about the problem. I kept texting and finally got a reply after we were in bed (wearing facemasks as we are both allergic to smoke) at 10:10pm offering for us to change rooms. This would be our SECOND change. We were in bed, tired and had to be up early for the conference the next day. We were told they had no way of figuring out which room was smoking. I would say differently, as usually if someone is smoking weed in a room the smell could be smelled at their door in the hallway area. I have stayed at hotels before that had this problem. No effort to try and find out which room it was was attempted. They offered to change our room or have someone spray deodorizer. At this point it was nearly 10:30pm. We opted just to sleep in facemasks. I was a guest at a conference and they paid for my room. If I was paying for my own room I would have asked for my money back It is also ridiculous they only offer king beds for ADA rooms. I needed an ADA room and had to turn it down due to needing 2 beds. They offered me a shower chair and I was brought an OFFICE rolling chair. The pool was gross. The water was 'thick' and dirty. Felt like sunscreen and urine. The hotel is not up to a Hilton standard. It shows so much wear and tear and is run down in many spaces. Not impressed at all! DO NOT STAY HERE -MUCH BETTER OPTIONS. Don't let the lobby fool you, and definitely do not take the 'corner room upgrade'!!! If you are ADA and need 2 beds -do not stay here! Read less

So I had a quick business meeting here at the Hilton. I had filmed all night and had decided to book a room so I did not have to drive back home to Los Angeles, I wanted to rest. I got to the hotel earlier than my reservation…but i went to the front desk to let them know I was there so I could at least park in the garage. I must say first that I am a Diamond Status member…however, even though I arrived earlier than my check in time, I was able to get a room early PLUS they gave me an upgrade. It was easy and seamless - and I was able to get to my room and freshen up and rest a bit before my meeting. It is walkable to Disneyland - which is great because I made my way over to Downtown Disney for dinner and then ended my night down at the lounge for a nice glass of wine. Even before the employees knew I was diamond status, they were very nice. Everyone was informative and courteous, and the room was very comfortable! I slept really well! Things to know, parking is a bit pricey, but it is connected to the convention center and close to Disneyland, so that should be expected. Also, this isn’t not the kind of Hilton that would have continental breakfast, just so know when booking your stay here. But it is a great place to go if you are going to Disneyland as it is walkable to the park, so you do not have to pay additional parking! Read less
