The hotel

Boasting the world's most famous zip code 90210, the Beverly Hilton is the home of the Golden Globe awards every January, making it one of the premier places to see and be seen. This hotel is a favourite with the stars, a glittering landmark since the 50s that has hosted the likes of Marilyn Monroe and is also where she received her Favourite Actress Golden Globe in 1962. A walk through the corridors will give you an idea of the glamour and fame that have also passed through over the years, all of the pictures were taken in the hotel itself. Guest rooms are large and most have a terrace or city views, whilst each room is fitted out with a tablet to allow you to order room service and other guest services. The pool terrace is spacious with plenty of areas to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Theres a fire pit for cooler nights, and the pool itself is the largest in Beverly Hills. After working up an appetite you can head to CIRCA 55 for casual dining, but there’s lots of choice nearby too.

My wife and I recently stayed one night at the Beverly Hilton to celebrate our 25th anniversary and had an overall great experience! Though we were disappointed to learn that the pool renovations had not been completed, the staff made sure we were taken care of properly. Starting with Elvira at the front desk, we were set up in a corner room on the 6th floor…gorgeous views of Beverly Hills and golf course. They had champagne and strawberries waiting for us in our room. So cool! Amalia, the housekeeper, checked in to see of we needed anything. She was so friendly and took good care of us. Mary, at the Circa 55 bar, made delicious drinks we enjoyed while watching the activity on the Sunset. When the pool restoration is complete, we plan to return and enjoy The Beverly Hilton! Read less

I was so excited for my stay at the Beverly Hilton. However, I cannot express how disappointed I am with this property and management. Prior to making my reservation, I called the property and discussed a medical condition. The person I spoke with was understanding and assured me the accommodations I required would be met. Once I arrived at the property, the accommodations were subpar at best. Not only did the lobby and common areas have an abundance of fragrance pumped through the air, but my individual room had an overwhelming amount of fragrance. The conditions went beyond uncomfortable and were frankly unbearable. I developed severe migraines and nausea that last throughout the duration of my stay. My attempts to remedy with management went unaddressed. It is clear this property does not care about every guest's experience and is only motivated by financial gains; customer service is non-existent. The cleanliness of the rooms can be improved. Lastly, the pool was not open during my stay. I would never consider this property for a future stay. If you are looking for a luxury hoteI with luxury service and amenities, I would look somewhere else. Read less

We had booked a double double with a terrace as I wanted to sit out after our days of site seeing but on entering the room it overlooked all the construction work so after a quick trip to reception they moved us to the front of the hotel and upgraded us to a junior king. The pool area is closed but that’s ok as we wouldn’t have used it anyway but you can swim at a sister hotel. The gym was what you would expect in a hotel and ok for a quick workout. I really loved the refillable water bottles. There are filtered water stations on every floor well done Beverly Hilton. Read less

Hotel is beautiful inside. Rooms were spacious. Views were amazing. We had a king bed with a pullout couch for the kids. Byredo soap, shampoo and conditioner used in the rooms. Staff was professional. Spent the day driving from San Diego to LA so the kids were tired. We had an early flight back to Toronto in the morning so decided to just enjoy the hotel for that 1 night. Be aware that you have to book the pool since it’s shared with the other hotel. We couldn’t go because it was sold out. Mike (I hope that’s his name) was the host working at CIRCA 55 was so nice and took photos of us with the mountains in the background. He even let us eat outside for happy hour with the kids even though the servers said we couldn’t. Would come back without the kids next time. Read less

Lovey hotel but right now is not the right time to go. It is undergoing a renovation. The concierge was great and recommended great restaurants. Staff are friendly, rooms are lovely. But the renovation is impeding a lot. The workout room is in the basement with no windows right now and the equipment crowded in. Read less
