A Hollywood hangout with noteworthy neighbours, this LA bolthole’s just a block from the theme park heaven of Universal Studios, and just a subway trip from the star-studded sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard. That hasn’t stopped Hilton Los Angeles Universal City coming up with a few extra treats of its own though – our favourite being FIVE on the Hill, where you can enjoy signature dishes and freshly-curated cocktails with Hollywood Hills in the background. Most make a beeline straight for Universal Studios – and, despite it being just around the corner, there’s a complimentary shuttle to save you walking (great for hot days!). And, while you’re there, you can also take in a movie, grab cocktails or craft beers, hit big-name shops, and dine at celeb-chef eateries in the neon lustre of Universal CityWalk.

First I have to mention the excellent customer service of Christina Philippines and Sincerely at the front desk . Both of them are very friendly and accommodating. I feel very welcome because of them. The room is nice and clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Thank you so much.
We will be back!

Beautiful hotel with close proximity to freeways, Hollywood and Universal Studios. Universal Studios and CityWalk are across the street. Beautiful hotel with close proximity to freeways, Hollywood and Universal Studios. Universal Studios and CityWalk are across the street. It’s close enough to where you can take a Lyft to major tourist attractions, but tucked safely away from the hustle and bustle of LA. Excellent restaurants on site and our room was nice and big. The staff were friendly and helpful, and if you have the Hilton app, you can check in and choose your own room. We got to choose a room that faced Universal Studios without an up charge. My only regret is not staying another night to enjoy the pool or the all you can eat seafood buffet. We will definitely be back as this hotel has our choice hotel in Hollywood.

We had a great experience here. Our rooms were not ready when we first arrived. We did arrive early. They let us know they would call us or text us when our room was ready. We never received a notice so when 4 pm came by we went to check on our room. It was still not ready. We ended having to wait longer BUT they made it right for us. We…

We never received a notice so when 4 pm came by we went to check on our room. It was still not ready. We ended having to wait longer BUT they made it right for us. We appreciated that they did that. Also the staff is super friendly. Danny I. was super helpful and welcoming.
I would say it is pricey for the average person with an average salary. Make sure you ask about prices.
I love that they offer the shuttle service to Universal Studios. It’s not that far of a walk either.
I will say the carpet feels weird on your feet. It’s as if they shampooed it but not all the shampoo was picked up, so there is residue left on it.
Other than that everything was pretty great. We really enjoyed our stay.

The front desk staff helped make our stay so easy. They made sure we were aware of all the amenities and made sure we had no follow up questions. As I was speaking I felt as though I had a scratchy throat and stopped talking mid sentence. The front desk staff I was speaking with hurried and gave me a bottle water to help. I appreciated that…

As I was speaking I felt as though I had a scratchy throat and stopped talking mid sentence. The front desk staff I was speaking with hurried and gave me a bottle water to help. I appreciated that because she did not make me feel uncomfortable. She was very helpful. The cleaning staff was also very helpful and curtious. They did not try and rush us out to clean the room.

From the time I arrived at the Hilton Los Angeles, universal , every single one of the employees were eager to make my stay amazing! Starting with the valet , to the check-in all the way to the checkout l, everybody was friendly and helpful. In addition, the food for our event was more than amazing. I will go there next time I’m in the area.!
