From the moment we booked to the time we checked out the staff went above and beyond our expectations. First Hilton reservations booked us into the wrong room type. The hotel easily changed us to the correct one. Then we’d booked for 2 nights after the first night we woke to steady rain making our trip to storyland miserable so we asked the hotel if they’d allow us to cancel our second night and come back 2 weeks later. They were happy too even though we were well past the cancellation period. Yes it’s annoying to have to sign up for the water park but I will say there never was a time we wanted to visit the water park that we couldn’t. My only suggestion to the hotel is instead of time slots and sign ups they should just count patrons. If they’re maxed people can wait till people leave to get in. The state doesn’t want them over a certain amount of people at one time. Just my thoughts. Read less

Omg! Where do I start. First we get there only to find out that you CANNOT just take your child down to their water park, you have to block of times of 1 1/2 hours, and THEY tell you what slots are open. Yeah, sure try telling your small child after an hour and a half that they have to get out and can no longer play at the Waterpark UNLESS possibly there are times left open later. Second, they asked me for a CC'd for incidentals (totally normal), but when I went to use my card at a Burger King up the road it was declined. I called, and they told me at 5:48 pm the card was charged again to some place I didn't even know. Now, mind you I'm not accusing any one particular person at the hotel, but I think it's pretty weird that they asked for my card for incidentals shortly before that then at 5:48 pm (when we clearly had our time blocked off at the pool, and we're at the pool) my card was charged again! Thirdly, we got to our room, and everything was fine, so we thought. Again, we went to the pool, came back, now mind you my daughter nor myself complains about other people's children because at times our granddaughter can be pretty loud herself, but the people's kids above us were extremely loud and sounded like they might come threw the floor. I called the front desk yet again and told them the situation. I was told they cannot enforce quiet time until 10 pm. Okay, we have a 4 year old that goes to bed by 8:30 pm. Not okay. Fourth, we then at OUR request changed rooms and the room they put us in had malfunctioning heat! Fifth, when I decided enough was enough, we checked out a day early. When I checked out someone (I'm assuming a manager of some sorts) asked me why we were checking out early, and I told him why we were checking out, he coldly said "well it seems as though you've made up your mind". I told him that yes, I had (we booked a hotel somewhere else) he said "okay then safe travels". So in conclusion I will NEVER go back, and I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. That's my review. If I could have given it no stars I would have, but that wasn't an option! Read less

I've now lost count of how many times I've stayed here with my family and friends. Every experience is EXCEPTIONAL and this trip was no different. The staff is always so kind and accommodating. The only 2 reasons I gave this hotel a positive review is for the staff and the location: great/good. Otherwise, I would not recommend. Very dirty, needs deep cleaning and updating. Waterpark is very small, limited. Many other places to choose from in the area.
