On the edge of Echo Lake State Park, North Conway. 10-minute drive to Cranmore, 45 minutes to Bretton Woods and 60 minutes to Cannon. Driving time from Boston Logan International Airport: 2 hours 35 minutes.

The place is beautiful, clean and the staff that works the hotel there are amazing. The food this year compared to last year for girls weekend at their restaurant wasn’t as amazing as last year. Omelets were raw at brunch, at dinner my Ahi Tuna was tough, (should be able to cut with fork) along with prime rib my friend ordered.

White Mountain Hotel & Resort cancelled our family’s reservation for June 2025 due to receiving a large group booking. We appreciate that this sort of cancellation happens from time to time in hotels. However, it was disheartening and below our expected standards that management did nothing to rebook a reservation elsewhere in the area for us, or even to provide information on alternative hotels. I waited two weeks for their promised phone call before leaving this review. I have booked a reservation elsewhere, and this turned out to be a minor inconvenience for our family, but I think travelers deserve to be made aware that this is the practice of White Mountain Hotel and Resort. I wonder how close to the travel date they might cancel other reservations in favor of group bookings, leaving existing customers high and dry. For a hotel that receives generally good reviews, I propose this as an opportunity for improved customer service. Read less

The first morning, we had to eat later than we like, but that was OK. We received a complimentary small cupcake/muffin. It was good. Didn't receive the second morning, although we noted other tables did get theirs. Also, no orange juice the second morning. Ummm....how do you run out of OJ? This is a good place to stay. Read less

Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and sheets were of good quality. Loved the plush bathrobe and slippers. Walk in shower was so nice (do not like tubs). Restaurant and food were wonderful, great ambiance. We will be back!

lovely hotel very well situated, I have just a few complaints. When we had dinner the service was very fast i was rushed through my dinner and i didnt enjoy it i picked the wrong meal choice ,I also dislike the dogs being here makes me uncomfortable
