Just come back from a week stay in New York and the hotel was great .Sasha on reception was lovely ,nothing was too much trouble for her when we asked something.She received my request for a lower floor and we still had a view of Empire State Building.Thanks also to Nigel for the help too.The breakfast we found was perfect for us and filled us up for a good part of the day,shout out to Mabel for the greetings at Breakfast.Room was fine too with a nice big bed and walk in shower and even had a small fridge .All the staff we met at the hotel were friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if in New York.The only thing to consider is the lifts can get very busy around the breakfast time so you might be waiting a bit but this is a minor thing.10 min walk to 34 St and Macy's so it's perfectly located to get about.

The bread warmer (1) instead of a real toaster was a hub as it took more than one time to get the bread done and there was a line many times. The french toast sticks tasted like frozen and were not edible. Paying for a nice stay with the promise of a nice breakfast was what we hoped for when booking. Sadly the breakfast options would make me look elsewhere for the price of the room.
