Cleavon, Sheerab, DJ, Sasha, and Elaine took great care of us. We were treated very well as globalists and the process of checking to valet was seamless. The Hotel itself is perfectly situated, just close enough to the subways, Bryant Park and within reach of Times Square. I used the gym and it was well maintained with clean towels, water, and protein bars! Total plus!!! We enjoyed the breakfast at the Bar which was complimentary as globalists. It was perfectly made and the fact that it is served from 6:30 to 12:30 makes it available at flexible times. The King bed room was also spacious with tall ceilings and very large bathroom. The see thru closet cabinets were a very nice touch and we appreciated the complimentary waters and snacks. After we contacted management, they were good enough to give us a VIP setting on the thermostat to lower it since both my wife and I like colder rooms. The valet parking process was also very seamless and it was easy to retrieve our car. Just note that you would be better off keeping your car at the Valet for your full stay and retrieve it when you leave as the in and out fees might attach if you have to travel. We will be returning and very much look forward to our next stay at the Andaz! Read less

Fantastic hotel, great for those with fragrance sensitivities. Stayed in loft suite. Brilliant location. Really Clean. Friendly staff. Spacious. Lovely huge bathroom. Noisy at night on 7th floor but was expected Just needs a chest of drawers as the wardrobe was too small for 3 of us we had to live out of suitcases.

Nice location and staff and gym but a terribly-designed room. This hotel would have been amazing in 2002. The open/“hip” lobby is just not functional and the rooms need an upgrade. Nice location and staff and gym but a terribly-designed room. This hotel would have been amazing in 2002. The open/“hip” lobby is just not functional and the rooms need an upgrade. Frankly, this review is really about a horrible room design where form trumps all function. Lighting and lighting controls are awful. You can’t see anything in the dark room outside the bizarre spotlights in places. The shower is spotless and a drafty mess and the bathroom doors (three of them…?) in this room made no sense. The telephone had a huge lcd screen that lit up the whole room all night and the glass bathroom counter always looked filthy. Again - staff and location are lovely - even the size of the room. But the designer needs fired. Read less
