Excellent staff at the front desk, extremely helpful. When we arrived at 2:30 am, without even asking, we were given a room on the top floor, away from an elevator that was very quiet. Room had great air conditioning and be comfortable beds. We were very pleased with the room.

We chose this hotel because it’s a perfect central location to see all the sights in Manhattan. Nearby are drugstores, groceries, shops, subway and lots of restaurants. Good customer service and friendly staff. We got fresh bagels from Ess-a-Bagel around the corner and there are several cute breakfast places close by. Even though Third Avenue is busy, there’s not a lot of street noise aside from sirens once in a while. There’s a subway station around the block which we used everyday. Some days we walked to another station a little farther away because not all trains stopped near Third Avenue. The hotel requires guests to have a key card to enter at night and to use the elevators which made it feel very secure. Read less

Well located hotel but overall not sure it’s too well managed. 1st room had a view of a brick wall but reception staff were helpful and moved us. Cleaning is a bit suspect and if you are looking for food or a bar after 10 def not the place as staff are out the door, never been to a hotel where the bar shuts at 10 but maybe it’s a Marriot Courtyard… Read more

The staff were all top notch and made us feel very welcome! We were there on a very belated high school graduation trip and we had a fabulous, fun time. Great breakfast. Great location. The housekeeping staff and Ms. Hernandez were so nice to us.

Review: I’m so glad we decided to stay at the Courtyard Manhattan/Midtown East for our long weekend in nyc. Location was perfect for sightseeing- we never walked more than a few blocks to the subway, and Times Square was close enough to walk. The room was large (MUCH larger than we were expecting for the city), and although the bathroom wasn’t huge, it was clean and well maintained. Despite the heat wave during our trip, the AC kept us cool/cold. All the staff were both helpful and friendly, whether it was providing us with directions or fixing a billing issue before our arrival even though it was after midnight (thank you to Mr. Hernandez, who went above and beyond!). The kids loved getting water and snacks on arrival. My son actually asked whether we could pack up the room to take home with us! Parking was available right around the corner, which was helpful when we drove out to another borough to see family. We got breakfast, which was tasty, but it would have been even better if the restaurant was available for lunch and/or dinner. Read less
