I spent the night at the Equinox Hotel New York, and honestly, it felt more like a wellness retreat than just a regular hotel stay.Speaking of the room, it was beautiful. Really spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows that gave me an amazing view of the city. The bed was huge and so comfortable

Really great hotel in Hudson Yards. We stayed there for a weekend break, keen to stay once away from Midtown / 5th Avenue area. Good location (northern end of the High Line, also close to the Hudson River hence ideal for a morning run...) and great city and river views. Comfortable room, really cool atmosphere and feel (health / sports / gym ethos mixed with a dose of partying thrown in). Really friendly service at the reception and the concierges were really helpful too (we relied on them for finding nice places for lunches). The dinner at Electric Lemon on the terrace was really pleasant - nice location, trendy vibe, enjoying the sunset, good food... The outside pool is a plus (although on a sunny afternoon in August it was obviously fairly crowded). Worth noting that he indoor pool is a proper swimming pool (which is rare in a hotel!). The whole gym area is obviously massive and has everything you need (but bear in mind that the gym is also open to Equinox members not just hotel guests so the overall feel will be slightly different from a hotel gym). Visited the chic, zen and sophisticated Equinox Spa with a colleague for our annual spa afternoon in the city, and it was simply a wonderful experience! We both have very stressful jobs and this is a much needed reprieve and treat for our mental and physical well being! We both agreed that we had the best massage (90 min E. We both have very stressful jobs and this is a much needed reprieve and treat for our mental and physical well being! We both agreed that we had the best massage (90 min E. Deep Massage) ever, and we have been to many spas all over the world. Ask for Guillermo and Laura, they will make you feel like a new person after the treatment! And sitting in the private alcove facing the Hudson River afterward, zipping our herbal tea and enjoying our photo opps made the spa outing even more memorable! Expensive but so worth it! Read less

This hotel belongs to the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The amenities are second to none, everything is stylish and tasteful. A rare expression of contemporary luxury. No stuffiness whatsoever. Yet the best is that this hotel knows that luxury is not about bricks and mortar. Luxury is not a product. It is an experience. It is the very… Read more

Yet the best is that this hotel knows that luxury is not about bricks and mortar. Luxury is not a product. It is an experience. It is the very experience that sets this hotel apart from many other luxury hotels I have stayed at. The entire team is young, professional and very friendly. They could not be more customer orientated. Kudos to Head Concierge Tirone Reina and Guest Relations Manager Jennifer Varquez, they seemed to be omnipresent throughout my stay. I will always stay at this hotel when I’m back in New York City. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Excellent hotel which lived up to its wellness expectations.

Lived up to the expectations, excellent hotel. Many wellness amenities including yoga mat and blocks in the room as well as a foam roller. Thoughtful sleep system which worked very well. Soaps and lotions were all very high quality. Attentive staff as well.
