Nice hotel and relatively quiet despite being in the middle of time square.
Rooms are small but arnt they all in New York! There was a flashing light from the smoke detector which was very annoying.
Breakfast is a nightmare! You have to get in the lift to the lobby to queue to then go to level 5 to queue again! Definitely would recommend only…

The location of this hotel can't be beat for a visit to NYC. The entire property was clean, safe and every staff member met me with a smile. As mentioned the elevators of a morning can be a wait. My daughter and I took the stairs down each morning from the 12th floor but we were able to get on one going up with minimal wait of an afternoon. We skipped the breakfast chaos, but I would say if you are die hard hotel breakfast person go early. We simply went across the street to Dunkin each day. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I can’t fault this hotel, after reading some negative comments I was wondering if I had done the right thing booking here. From checking in to checking out it was a faultless stay. We checked in very quickly, we had room 4406 which was a really high room with a view of Times Square, the room was great and very clean, bed was comfy, bathroom had a big shower and was big and clean. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard. Breakfast was a concern after reading some reviews, we had no problem what so ever, we got there early every morning around 6.50 and we went straight up and seated straight away, great choice of hot and cold food and drinks. All the staff were really friendly, we used the bar in the hotel which was really nice, happy hour between 4 and 8 pm, great mojhitos , great choice of cakes and sandwiches which we had a couple of nights. I would recommend to anyone to stay here, with Times Square red steps just a 2 minute walk away it couldn’t be any better situated. If I ever come back to New York I will definitely stay here.

We arrived after 11 pm and we were told that they overbooked 11 rooms. We have had this hotel reserved for months and called them last night to let them know we would be in late just like they asked us to do. No one last night told my wife that the room wasn't available.

They shipped us over to the sister hotel and there are several other people who are here in the same predicament. We walked from the hotel and the reservation still isn't ready for us or the other people.
This place is a disgrace. Never stay here if they have that ignorant of people working there.

We recently stayed for 4 nights for the marathon and loved this hotel. The location is excellent, close to subway stations and Times Square. Checkin was easy and our room was very spacious by NYC standards. Huge, comfortable bed , mini fridge, enough storage and great shower. We never queued for breakfast for more than 5 or 10 minutes though perhaps at peak holiday times this would be more. It's run very efficiently and the breakfast itself is impressive. A huge selection of hot and cold items that are kept stocked up. The breakfast staff keep it running really well and it always looked clean and tidy everywhere. It even opened very early for the runners the morning of the marathon. The 4 hour happy hour at the bar is great value and a nice way to take a break before going out for the evening. Alongside the bar is a snack/sandwich menu open all day which is really handy along with lots of seating. Reception staff were always helpful and polite. We had a great stay and would definitely be back if returning to NYC!
